With this edition, our company does not aim to add another general tourist guide to Greece in the already rich Greek and international literature, nor does it believe that such a goal can be achieved within the limited space of a few dozen pages and a few hundred photographs. Greece, with its historical depth, unique monumental topography, folkloric wealth, and many natural beauties, has been and remains an inexhaustible treasure trove of exploratory experiences for the discerning visitor, who cannot - no matter how much they want to - claim to have a comprehensive picture of it in a few days or even a few weeks. And perhaps it would not be an exaggeration to say that even these specialized researchers, who have systematically dealt with the detailed recording of all kinds of "attractions" of the Greek territory (historical and nature-related), often have the pleasant feeling that they are just "discovering" it and starting their "exploration".

Based on the above, this edition aims only to serve as another strong incentive for exploratory journeys in Greece, giving - to the extent possible and with the help of strictly selected and excellent photographic material - the basic outline of the directions that the visitor should follow in their "countrywide" wanderings or, simply put, what would be good not to miss.
