The case has very good, sturdy construction, works flawlessly, and achieves the speeds it claims, except when you have the 2 disks as separate units and transfer files from one to the other - which is perfectly normal for any JBOD Multibay unit.

The 4 stars are for 2 reasons:

    1) it is (like all cases today) quite overpriced

    2) more importantly, when I shut down the computer, after the disks stop spinning, they start again after a while, unless you fully disconnect the power. While it is not dangerous in terms of data loss (I want to believe that it doesn't move the head over the platters), it reduces their lifespan due to unnecessary usage and creates noise for no reason. By the way, this is something I have noticed in many icybox cases.
