Compared to the previous one I had, which I bought for 50€, I would say that it has the same accuracy or inaccuracy as well as build quality. Its plastics appear to be of good quality. All these thermometers do not have the absolute accuracy that the ones that go under the armpit have. A very good purchase.

After several comparative measurements with a mercury thermometer, I noticed that it had a deviation of -0.2. That is, it showed 36.4 or 36.5 instead of the actual 36.6.
Good measurements are made when you touch the thermometer to the forehead or cheeks. Anyway, for a quick measurement and for its price, it's fine.

(+) Easy handling, readable screen.
(-) No reliability. The measurements have huge deviations. My child had a fever of 38.5 and it showed 37. I definitely do not recommend it. Either go for a more expensive infrared solution or a traditional electronic thermometer.

Summary:
Bad purchase choice.

I bought two, one for myself and one for my parents. Both of them give results with a deviation of up to 1 degree. So, I believe that it is not a defective piece since the same thing happens with both thermometers. I would prefer something more reliable or the classic thermometers for safer results, as this one is not reliable at all.

The whole family was measured and the reading seems accurate at 36.6 and 36.7. And this in just a few seconds! If it doesn't break soon or start showing random readings, I think it's value for money! After a year, the 5th star will be given if it lasts until then.
