I have the same kettle for at least 3-4 years. It hardly catches any limescale. Easy to use application. Everything is perfect and more. I bought the new model with the temperature indicator on the handle, it looks just as sturdy. Well done once again to my favorite brand for the last 5-6 years, Xiaomi everywhere
Very good! I bought it mainly to boil water and bring it to a temperature of 40 degrees for the baby's milk. It actually maintains it and the milk is ready without having to wait for it to cool down from the tap! It's worth the money!
A major downside for left-handers is that you can't see the water level indicator when filling it up. Call me weird, but it bothers me.
It is also relatively tall compared to its capacity.
Finally, when it is full, the lid does not hold the boiling water well, resulting in splashing drops left and right when emptying the water.
It doesn't seem to me that it is particularly fast compared to the previous one I had, but the choice was a bit of a dead end based on the requirement I had for temperature indication/selection.
The materials are what I am used to from Xiaomi, that is, of superior quality.
From a mechanical point of view, this kettle is more user-friendly than usual, as the lid opens wide and the inside surface is smooth, so it can be easily cleaned.
Ergonomically, I consider the bluetooth functionality to be a joke, as it is not useful for anything. Besides, in my opinion, it is needed to change the setting of how long to keep the water warm if you forget. The standard setting is 24 hours!!! And the minimum you can set is 'one hour'.
Another thing they did not think through well in terms of functionality is that in order to heat it to a temperature below 100 degrees Celsius, you must use the keep hot function.
Both problems are software-related, but from a mechanical point of view, this kettle is excellent.
Very convenient product, especially the water maintenance at a certain temperature for hours, it is very helpful if you have a baby and wake up every 3 hours at night
Maybe not the best but definitely very good for its price. I really like the keep warm function and that you can control everything from the mi home app!

Fast heating, the "keep warm" function is very helpful, especially for tea lovers and more. Sturdy construction with excellent insulation that can keep the water hot for longer compared to regular kettles.
The lid opens all the way back, making it very easy to clean the kettle.
The only negative (it would be good to change this in a future upgrade of the Xiaomi device) is the lack of a small filter to retain minerals on the edge of the jug. Areas with very hard water will produce quite a bit of minerals (which is normal) and some may break off and pass into the drink. If you use filtered water (in our case, we do this through a jug from a well-known company), the appearance of minerals is significantly reduced.
We bought this kettle a while ago, as we have a newborn baby and we want to boil water quickly.
First of all, the interior material is not good at all, as it collects salts that cannot be removed.
Secondly, it starts boiling on its own without being able to stop it, resulting in all the water evaporating.
Also, it smelled like burnt plastic from the beginning.
I should also mention that the feature to keep the water warm is not good at all, and from the app, you can't do anything more than maintaining the desired temperature.
I believe it was not worth even half of the 60 euros we paid. It is clearly for withdrawal.
Excellent product for parents. You boil the water and let it cool. Then you press it to warm up to the desired temperature for each milk without stress quickly and immediately.

I have a baby and I need hot water, so I boil it quickly and then choose to keep it at 40 degrees for 12 hours. I have peace of mind! It also has a mobile application
It has two options, boil and keep warm (with temperature options of 40-50-70-80-90).
Practically, this means that you can simply warm it up at one of these temperatures without boiling it first and just keep it at that temperature afterwards.
Which is clearly very convenient for coffee or tea, as one can have their drink exactly where they want it.
The application doesn't make much sense. You can't make it boil, only keep warm at the temperature you want and for how long you want to keep it there. In theory, you fill it with water overnight and when you wake up, you open the application, set it to warm up, and you have hot water for your coffee before getting up. A bit unnecessary luxury. It's easier to just go and press the button on the kettle. Not to mention that if you have a Xiaomi lamp or vacuum cleaner, you might accidentally press that and start cleaning instead of boiling.
For those who have a baby, the milk powder we used says to boil it for 5 minutes, this kettle can't do that, it stops as soon as it reaches 100 degrees and can only work on keep warm. It depends on what your pediatrician tells you, always. But I started using it for bottles after starting with the non-sterilized solid foods after the 6th month.
I give it 5 stars because it suits my needs. It's not particularly smart and may not suit others.
We had it for less than a month. Last night, in the silence of the night, we heard a bang. After a lot of searching, I went to the kitchen where the whole electric appliance smelled burnt. On its own, it had started boiling until all the water evaporated and obviously the appliance burned. Of course, the socket where it was connected was also affected. Disappointing at least, from a Xiaomi device, for which we spent 40 euros.
The best kettle, I bought it for my baby and it is the best. It boils water in no time, it is completely silent and keeps the water at the temperature you want. It also has a display on top that shows it, so you don't need anything else. We are saved! Also, you can control it through the app for temperatures, etc. It's the best, don't buy any other kettle except this one!
From the first month we bought it, it was leaking water from its base. Over time, the temperature sensor broke, so if you set it to heat water to 70 degrees, the sensor would show 15-20 degrees and the water would continue to boil, resulting in it completely evaporating if you forget about it. Bad purchase. It would have been better to buy a simple one instead of spending so much money on a faulty product.
Very good but the first one broke at 6 months and was replaced by the company at no cost to us, and the second one broke after 9 months. If it didn't break so soon, I would give it 5 stars
We have had it for about 1 year. We use water from filters and it does not catch salts, as many times as we put tap water it caught salts normally like all kettles. Very nice function that it keeps at the temperature you have set through the application.
Very good. Boils quickly and good construction. Its big plus is that you can adjust the temperature you want, for example 80° which is the right temperature for tea. You don't need to use the app, it just shows you the temperature and some other settings. Basically, you don't need WiFi. It will definitely catch limescale, especially in Greece where the water is bad, but it can be easily removed with a little vinegar.
I bought it when my baby was born so that we could have hot water whenever we needed it for milk. At first, we had the option through the app to boil the water and then maintain it at the right temperature. Later on, we simply pressed the button above the kettle where boiling water was not needed, so that it would prepare the water at the desired temperature.
I have also gifted three others of the same to friends, and they have the same opinion.
Today, 3 years after purchasing it, we use it daily for making coffee without any problems whatsoever.
As a device, it is very pleasant and practical in maintaining temperature and the ability to choose it from the first use. So, I will come back with the use to give the most accurate experience beyond just first impressions.
The only thing that bothered me a little is a small cosmetic flaw in the assembly of the temperature panel and buttons (glue?!). It is not critical, but I noticed it and until I get used to it, I will see it. Presbyopia will also help me not to become obsessed!

After 9 months of use, it permanently turned off. It doesn't turn on. Yes, it was easy to use and convenient, but when it breaks down so quickly, it renders all its pros useless. I used to love Xiaomi, but lately it's making me dislike it.
Apart from being of excellent quality and having a wonderful design, it does not accumulate limescale and other similar things. Through the Xiaomi Home application, it has two functions that I haven't seen anywhere else. 1. It HEATS the water to the temperature you set, which is convenient at least so that you don't have to wait for your drink to cool down or burn the tea leaves at 100 degrees Celsius. 2. It keeps the water warm at a temperature you desire for as long as you want (I think maximum 1 hour), which is helpful if there is a baby in the house. Without a doubt, it is the best purchase I have made.
Apart from the limescale issue, which can be treated with vinegar or descaling liquid for coffee makers and kettles, the only problem I have is the metal strip on the top. Although it is not easily visible in the photos, this strip is the continuation of the metal interior lining of the kettle, which means one thing: it gets hot! So, do not make the mistake of trying to lift it from the rim, only from the handle.
Other than that, I am very satisfied! It does its job quickly and has nice options and settings through the app!
