Not even a month of operation has passed and it's already playing tricks (It doesn't change channels on the computer sometimes, while other functions work fine. I changed the batteries, same issue. Press a number to go to a channel and it would take you somewhere else. At some point it even did strange things with the picture) I thought it was a reliable brand but I was wrong.
Purchased a 24-inch TV from Germanos for €150 a month ago. So far satisfied. It has Android version 9, which allows the operation of cosmoteTV and is already integrated. It has many useful suggested apps to install, as well as the Play Store to download more. Also, with a USB stick (or through the integrated browser with the stop sign) you can download and install the apk file of any app not available on the Play Store.
The only drawback I found is that the colors on the sides may appear dim and slightly gray when watching channels from the antenna app (live TV), while when watching channels through the internet (cosmoteTV platform, etc.) the colors are much better.
Tip: definitely install the web video caster app on your mobile so you can stream any video or movie from your mobile to the Toshiba via Chromecast (from any website, browser, Facebook, YouTube, anywhere on the web!). First, you need to copy or share the URL of the page containing the video on your mobile to the web video caster app and then press the caster symbol to connect to the Toshiba.
The television is awesome! It has a very good picture - clarity - and a very easy menu to navigate. The channels are easily sorted, literally in seconds, without many commands. I really got a "cheap" television, but it is literally worth a lot more money.
It concerns the 24-inch: Let's start with the positives: android tv, lots of applications, decent processor - plays utube and some games on retroarch flawlessly... Decent picture when you adjust it through the strange (android) menu. Average quality but powerful sound. The negatives: Not a good picture when viewed from an angle. And I don't mean a 160-degree angle. As soon as you move away from the center, the whole picture deteriorates. - Strange menu, but once you learn it, it's okay. - Freezes at times and is frustratingly slow in the applications menu. - Some occasional Wifi disconnections for now.
Big disappointment. The control almost never works. The WiFi works whenever it wants. The TV lights also work whenever they want. For the 32-inch, the evaluation.
It does not have a good picture and does not read the USB I had inserted.
Otherwise, it has a rich menu and applications, relatively good sound.
I would say it is a mediocre television
Relatively expensive for a 24-hour TV, it has TVs from 100€ just to watch TV in your bedroom, but this is not a simple TV. It is an ANDROID SMART TV and its relationship with a simple TV is as much as a lighter with a sewing machine. Firstly, it is very lightweight, it fits into a 75mm base with small screws (no need for larger ones). When you open it, you have your mobile phone close to you, at some point it gives you some synchronization instructions with your mobile phone (ok, they weren't accurate but I found them relatively easy) and it does all the work automatically. It has pre-installed Netflix, which due to synchronization with the mobile phone (android of course) automatically entered my account, which stressed me a lot because I couldn't remember my password. The same goes for YouTube, which was also pre-installed. I downloaded ote tv from the playstore, which, however, required a normal id and password and it works great. This little TV does everything and does it very easily. Also, easy menu and remote control. Great picture, well, what else do you want for 170€?
The television for its money is Value for money. Light with a good screen and vibrant colors, impressively powerful sound for its size, fast menu, user-friendly Android environment, fast connectivity to wifi without disconnections, ideal for Netflix, etc. in a bedroom. Also thin, light, and nice in remote control layout
The TV is worth its money... good picture and sound, YouTube, Netflix, ERTflix, Play Store, and hybrid channels. Its negatives are 2: the menu is a bit unclear and complicated, and the image settings (contrast, brightness). Highly recommended for a second TV in a bedroom, for example.
The TV was purchased to replace the failed Full HD 24-inch one we had in the room.....Distance 4 meters from the bed, myopia and presbyopia, 24-inch full HD......a recipe for disaster! So, the TV was purchased from the German for 200 euros with a 20% refund through digital wallet and Eurobank. The 720p played a catalytic role due to the viewing distance, dimensions, and of course the Android TV, which surprisingly works great after the updates. As a result, thanks to Android TV, I downloaded the Cosmote application and now with an antenna cable and a power cable, I have Cosmote, Netflix, Amazon Prime, ERTFlix, and terrestrial television in the bedroom. Among its positives, I include the 5G band handling, which makes it very fast in receiving packages from the provider, in combination, of course, with the 720p which drastically reduces the number. The picture is not Oscar-worthy, especially if you have a top-of-the-line 120Hz, HDMI 2.1, VRR Free sync pro TV, but it's great for watching your match in bed or watching a movie from Netflix.
For God's sake, don't get it for the elderly who have no relationship with technology, it will be completely useless to them. The menu is exclusively Android TV and even someone with exceptional technological knowledge will have difficulty setting it up correctly.
Otherwise, for 160 euros, it's a revelation for a bedroom TV. Note that it has a standard VESA mount and is lighter than the 8-year-old 24-inch Samsung. Pay attention to the corner placement if you are replacing an old small TV, make sure there is enough space (mine could accommodate a slightly larger one, but that's it). Note that surprisingly it has amazing sound. Bluetooth connectivity with headphones is flawless. It works very well with Google Assistant, but I can't find an app on my phone to control it (I'm almost sure there is something). Otherwise, if you consciously get it for the requirements I set, it's simply an amazing purchase.
I have it for 5 1/2 months, it works great and I have installed the Netflix and Cosmote TV app. It has Netflix and YouTube installed and everything above works perfectly. I am disabled and amputated and I needed a smart TV in the bedroom on the wall, it is perfect. I highly recommend it, it's worth 100% of its money!
I have had it for 3 days and I regret getting it....not only does it have a terrible menu...you can't even figure it out on the playstore....it's not worth 200€.....something is wrong with 130€
