The project "Digital Free Expression" approaches the evolution of the right to freedom of speech and press that is shaped in the digital and online environment, under the influence of European and American legal order. The project includes the transformations of the basic concepts of free expression on the internet, the function and impact of search engines on the formation of the public sphere, the development and influence of social media phenomenon on speech delivery, and the new considerations regarding the development of the digital market of ideas. It is addressed to both legal professionals, lawyers or judges, as well as to the field of information and computer science.
