The review I am making here for the fire extinguisher concerns its objective, which is to complete the car, pass the vehicle inspection (a 5-year fire extinguisher covers a total of 2 or 3 vehicle inspections), and avoid potential fines in random checks. It clearly fulfills this purpose.
There is not even a discussion about whether such a fire extinguisher covers real fire conditions; the performance of 750 ml is laughable. This should normally be the essence, but it's another discussion.
Our lack of education on the subject of fire extinguishers is evident from the fact that we ask how fresh it is and if it has a long expiration date. We don't do it because we care about its reliability in an emergency situation, but to cover us in routine inspections. We also put the fire extinguisher in the luggage compartment where it is not accessible when needed.
So, with a fair amount of honesty and self-criticism, I will give it a 5 out of 5 for the purpose of inspection/fine, knowing that it is only for that and nothing else.
P.S. What has been written is true; it is good, very cheap, Greek-made. On the sticker, it says "manufactured in 2021, expires in 2026" on one end, and on another point, it says "manufactured in 2022, expires in 2027" (see photos). This is a bit strange, but without much significance, as it will cover the vehicle inspections of 2024 and 2026, and then it will be replaced.Translated from Greek ·- Quality
