It is a diode valve, which means it has 2 ports, one for water inlet and one for outlet. When the inlet is closed, the flow is interrupted, while when it is open, the flow in the inlet is the same as the flow in the outlet.
It is suitable for use in autonomous heating and all you have to do is connect it to a room thermostat, so that its operating hours can be defined.
