It takes a little longer but the result is delicious.
We tried:
apple, mango, orange, 24 hours
grapes 48 hours

I had another dehydrator of the same category at 240 watts... I used it to dry fruits at home that I needed for my bar! I knew with the previous dehydrator how many hours I needed and that the result would always be the same... it was perfect for 3 years until it burned out! So, I decided to get a similar one since it had 9 trays... It heats up until the third setting, even at 70 degrees, which I usually don't use (with the other one, I had it set at a constant 65 degrees). I am not satisfied at all, as the fruits haven't dried after more than 30 hours, they haven't gained color, and it's causing me a lot of trouble! Whereas with the other one, in 20 hours, with alternating the trays, I was ready! The 240 watts for 9 trays and such a large space cannot give the desired result! If it were 500 watts, yes... Anyway, I will eventually move to a semi-professional one
