This scale is made for weighing small quantities, such as coffee. That's why its size is logically smaller than that of a general household scale. Its accuracy is very good for this job. I checked and compared it with other much more expensive ones in its class and it didn't lack anything. But for those who missed the accuracy of a hundredth of a gram..... at this price, one cannot expect to get a laboratory scale.
It is very easy to use and easy to keep clean. It came with two trays, very well packaged and with batteries (good for them).
One star for its size and for the damaged batteries that were in the package. The batteries had leaked their fluids... The scale is very small... microscopic... smaller than a telephone headset... Unfortunately, when I placed the order, I didn't pay attention to the dimensions...
I bought it on behalf of a friend, and he hasn't mentioned anything bad. That's all I know, I haven't used it myself. But visually it looks sturdy... now what can I say... go for it... it has a good price, and it will do its job.
I use it for dosages in pesticides and generally for tasks where the product for weighing has a small volume and requires some measurement accuracy, such as constructing a fishing sinker, etc
I use this specific scale to measure doses in coffee (weighing before grinding) but also to make V60, by placing the entire kettle on top.
Bad scale. Firstly, to start with the positives, it has accuracy in measurements and the screen is bright. However, after a while, specifically after the first battery change (they lasted a month, with two weighings per day for sure), something seems to not work properly. The screen flickers and constantly displays low battery indication. The climax (and the reason why I am now looking for a new one) is that after changing the batteries approximately every 10 days, as soon as I put in a new pair, it tells me (on the same day, mind you!) that the battery level is low and I need to change them. The build quality is also very poor. Personally, I have paid about four times the cost of the scale in batteries and I am not satisfied. Attention
I am too young to make food measurements on a plate. The plate covers the screen. Its accuracy is okay for food, but not for other measurements that require greater precision. It is not clear how to switch to centimeter accuracy, and I am considering returning it.
It arrived damaged and I returned it to the store where I bought a different brand. I would put in 8 grams and it would show 1. I would put in a 450 gram jar and it would show heavier than the 900 gram jar. Overall, I wouldn't risk it again with this one.
Quite a good scale for this price (final price 17.23). I tried it and it starts weighing from 0.3g. The accuracy is indeed 0.1g plus or minus. In the description, it says up to 3kg, but I tried it up to 1.5kg. It could probably handle more, but I was afraid due to its lightweight construction and small dimensions - 10x10cm weighing surface. It is mainly used to weigh coffee for espresso and other things... After about 1 month, I am satisfied.
