Although I was hesitant at first due to the cost, not that it is high, on the contrary, it is very affordable for everything they claim to offer. Having tried more expensive 3D headphones, I didn't expect much from the Pulse 3D. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Note: I have had them for about a month and use them on a daily basis.
Sound
You immediately notice the difference between the Pulse 3D and regular headphones. Rich sound, full and with decent bass, good frequency range, always considering the money you spend. As for the 3D sound, it really depends on each person's personal perception. Watching a video with 3D sound, the sounds I heard, with my eyes closed, and I could imagine them in the space, others couldn't perceive them in the same way or differently. However, there is a solution for this. In the settings of the PS5, you can go and change the point that the headphones consider as the center. This way, you can adjust the audio experience to your liking.
The microphones, there are two on the headphones, without claiming any awards, are good enough for what they need to do. I didn't encounter any problems and my conversation partners could hear me clearly and without background noise. I tested them on PSN, Discord, Google Meet, and Zoom.
When you wear them and have the volume at normal levels and above, external noises are isolated and the experience becomes cinematic. It's not 100% Dolby Atmos and it depends on the content/game, but at this price, it's satisfactory.
The PS5 provides a plethora of settings to bring the sound to the levels you want, even an equalizer with different sound profiles. Unfortunately, on the PS4, there are only basic settings for headphones.
Comfort
For the first two hours, the headphones are really comfortable. After that, once the ear cushions settle and take their final shape, you may have some issues if you have slightly larger ears. Certain points of the ear may touch the hard grille of the headphones and bother you. This happened to me, while others who tried them didn't have this problem. If you wear glasses, unfortunately, the cushions press against the arms on your skull, but again, it depends on the type of glasses and the user's anatomy. Despite these issues, I use them more than other headphones I've had over time, which is a good sign. Except for the above, in general, you don't even realize you're wearing large headphones, they are lightweight and very comfortable to wear.
There are online replacement cushions, not official ones, with good reviews that are slightly firmer but slightly larger.
Build Quality
Having also purchased the PSVR, which shares several materials with the headphones, I have the following to say. The white plastic will not yellow over time, but the material used for the ear cushions doesn't seem to hold up. From online research I did, it seems they last a maximum of one year, depending on the skin and oils secreted by the skin, so everyone's experience may be different. Fortunately, there are quality replacement options that cost around €15, so there is no issue. Otherwise, the remaining plastic and mechanical parts are initially quite good. I don't expect any problems, and according to other online reviews, the headphones don't show any damage.
Connectivity
The Pulse 3D headphones are not Bluetooth, so they cannot be connected to devices that cannot detect the accompanying USB dongle. They work flawlessly without the need for any user intervention, plug 'n play, on Windows 10 and 11, MacOS, iOS, and Android (with a female USB port adapter), Nintendo Switch (connected to the dock), and PlayStation 4. All operating systems provide 3D sound whenever available. On Windows, you simply need to install the Dolby program from the app store, which has a small cost but is worth it if you play games and watch movies on Windows. Netflix and Apple TV display content with 3D sound, and the Pulse 3D headphones work perfectly.
Note: Although Apple Music provides content with Dolby Surround sound, it is only available on compatible headphones, and the Pulse 3D headphones are not on the list.
Attention: Only the USB dongle is necessary, as there are no replacements available if it breaks or malfunctions, according to what I have read. It is also advisable not to place the dongle at the back of the PS5. Users have reported that due to the heat from the vents, the USB dongle can malfunction over time.
Handling
On the headphones, you will find the power LED, buttons for adjusting the volume, changing the balance between game sounds and voice, microphone mute, monitor toggle (to hear your voice in the headphones), power button, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio output. At first, it may be a bit challenging to learn where the buttons are in order to operate them blindly while wearing the headphones, but after a while, you get used to it, and the movements become automatic.
The battery lasts for several hours, around 12. When it reaches 10%, it emits a characteristic sound. It takes about three and a half hours to charge.
Packaging
The headphones include a USB 3 to USB-C cable for charging, as well as a cable with a 3.5mm audio jack on both ends in case you want to use them as regular headphones. The sound in this case is excellent, but they do not function as 3D headphones.
Closing
Overall, the Pulse 3D headphones are a decent proposition at this price, providing features of very good quality that are usually found in headphones three times the price. Of course, not everything is perfect, such as the quality of some materials, and they do not allow you to listen to Dolby Atmos. However, at this price, you really can't complain. I highly recommend them as entry-level 3D headphones.
After two years of use, the headphones broke from the frame.. heavy on the head especially for those who wear glasses, the cushions wear out, Sony lags behind in this area as well as in controllers with drift... for 83 euros they are not worth it. With the same price you can find better and more durable
Definitely worth their money. The sound quality is very good and with the 3d sound you can hear exactly where the enemies are. The have a decent mic but your friends / teammates can easily understand you. The are wireless and according to my calculations their battery life can last up to 10 hours.
Good evening, after 2 months of use, everything is fine in terms of sound. The negatives are the mediocre build quality, but the issue that has arisen for me is uncomfortable intense pain in the ears and possibly migraines. Maybe it's because of the Bluetooth, but regardless, it is unbearable to wear it anymore
They are very good headphones, the battery is satisfactory, it lasts about 4 hours but it also depends on the intensity with which they are used.
In the package, apart from the USB that comes to pair them, they also come with a cable to use them wired, which I find very useful and even necessary.
As a user of the previous PS4 headphones, I believe that these are much better made and more quality. The 90€ that I paid for them are a bit expensive, but if you find them on sale, grab them, they are quite good.
The sound is very nice but personally there were moments when I wanted to increase the volume and realized it was already at max, I would like it to have more volume. I have average ears and the headphones don't cover them but rest on them, so after 2 hours of gaming my ears started to hurt, with my previous Razer headphones my ears were inside. The battery life is quite good, with one charge I get 5 hours of gaming (generally I don't play for more hours in a row so I don't know if they last longer as I charge them every time). If I were to buy headphones again, I would buy ones that don't press on my ears. For the same price, there are much better headphones available.
In general, it does its job and more. However, I would like to comment on the noise cancelling feature that it claims to have. It is minimal to non-existent. If you play with a mechanical keyboard, for example, you will have many complaints from teammates.
Bought on 3/2/24. Wonderful design, quality sound, good construction except for the buttons which personally seemed fragile to me, I expected something better in this area. They didn't tire me at all. If the battery runs out, just plug in the AUX cable to the PS5 controller and continue.
Well, I will make a brief review as I have owned these headphones for only a few hours. Initially, they connected directly to the PS5 and I set up the 3D audio very easily, okay, we’ll skip that obviously. It is a product mainly for PS5, so yes, all its functions work normally. As for comfort, after 3 hours of gaming, I felt some discomfort in one ear, probably because the cushion was pressing a bit. I generally have small ears, so if you have large ears, I recommend not getting them. The sound, with a slight adjustment in the EQ of the PS5 system, is satisfactory. I didn’t pay 200 euros for a wireless headset to expect something that would make me say wow, I’ve never heard such sound. Overall, very convenient with all its buttons. Sound adjustment, microphone mute, on and off switch. I have placed the dongle in the front because the back ports get warm, and I’m afraid there might be some issue with functionality. I got it for 90 euros, and I would say that at 90 euros there might be better options. But it’s not that you won’t be satisfied.
Edit: I have had them for 7 months now. They don’t bother my ears at all. They continue to work flawlessly. Very good headphones in general for PS5 but also for PC. Of course, there we have some limitations, but still, they do their job. From 4 out of 5 stars, I change my rating to 5 as I now have no issues regarding how comfortable they are in my ears.
Very good quality, incredibly comfortable, and the sound is unreal. The only issue is that the microphone picks up a little more than it should from the surrounding environment, but the headphones are definitely worth their money

Bought it here a month ago from a well-known store for 88€. Good sound and build quality. The only thing I didn't like is that after prolonged use (about 3 hours), the top of my head hurts, probably from the rubber that the headphones have to stay on the head. Other than that, a very good purchase choice.
The headphones have excellent crystal clear sound and satisfactory bass. Unfortunately, they do not support 3D Audio on the PS4, but the Surround Sound is just fine. They seem to be decently made and are very comfortable. For those who have a PS4 and want decent headphones, these are just what you need. I don't have an opinion on the PS5.
Very nice headphones with good build quality, user-friendly and lightweight.. The downside is that they don't fit well in the ears (at least in mine) because the cushion that rests on the ears is not very big. During long gaming sessions (8 hours plus), they don't weigh me down but I constantly readjust them because they don't fit well.
Good headphones but the microphone is terrible, just put them at 40 Euros as headphones for playing games with 3D Audio and you would be fine (I'm just saying now to Sony)
Good sound, easy connection but bad microphone and uncomfortable, after two hours of use there is intense discomfort. I wouldn't buy them if I knew how uncomfortable they are.
Tremendous headphones. I'm not a crazy expert, but I believe their sound is 100% satisfactory for someone who wants to enjoy a game on PlayStation. Especially the ability with the 3D sound is fantastic. Personal opinion, but I also find them extremely convenient in the way they fit on me. I bought them for €93. The price is a bit steep, but I think they're worth it.
Personally, I got them at 60.
For 60 euros, they are definitely worth it.. but for more than 60, no.
I am very satisfied overall. They work perfectly on the ps5, they don't tire me at all.
On the pc, there are better options, but I use them daily on the pc as well.
The caps on the headphones easily come off and they get warm. They have exhausted me too much, and the sound is not impressive.
For their price, they are good, but the result on the PS5 is not that impressive after all, and they cannot be compared to other gaming headphones. It's a shame that they still require a dongle even for connection with the PS5!
I came to share my experience with the Sony headphones for the PS5 and I have quite a bit to say, so be prepared to some extent. Here's what I have to say:
As for the construction, they are not worth the 100 euros I paid for them. The plastic is good, but in a fall, you are 60% afraid they will break, especially in the part where the ears are full plastic.
2. The cable provided by Sony is mediocre to terrible. For such a price, the headphones should have better attention to detail.
3. I have tried them on both PC and PS5, and on the PS5 they are great, with strong bass and sound that doesn't hurt your ears wirelessly. Of course, the performance drops a bit, as always.
4. I've had them for 2-3 months, and nothing has torn or come close to the damage that other people have experienced. However, I can say that due to my poor handling, as I often forgot that I had a cable on me when leaving my PC, the cable constantly came out of the port, causing the port to break in 2 months. I was forced to use them wirelessly, where the sound is lower.
As for the surround sound, meaning hearing footsteps, etc. in games, it's great as advertised. I'm completely satisfied with the sound with a wired connection, but if you have 80 euros to spend, which is now the price for these headphones, there are better options available for that price.
Also, I never read comments before buying them, and I took a risk. I'm positive about them, but now I'm going for Logitech headsets due to their better quality.
After 6 months, I can say that they are exactly as I tried them, nothing has changed. I use them for more than 5-6 hours a day, every day. Their battery is very satisfactory, they can easily last for 9-10 hours. They are quite convenient, I could say they could be a little more comfortable, but it's not a big deal. The isolation is amazing, personally, I can't hear anything outside the headphones once I put them on. Of course, they are worth their money, I recommend them!
I had the blasters for more years at much less money and they hadn't broken
It's definitely not worth using for a PC. I don't know about the PS, but with the same amount of money, you can find something better
I have to say, these headphones are amazing. Coming from the Razer Kraken, I consider them a must-have accessory if you have a PS5. I was hesitant to buy them because I had read some comments saying they weren't comfortable. I've been testing them for almost a week now, wearing them for several consecutive hours, and they haven't tired me out at all, at least not as much as I thought they would. However, I have to say that they're not nearly as comfortable as the Kraken, but I'm still very satisfied.
From an audio perspective, the sound quality (in/out) and the functions on the headset (mute, chat/game, volume, monitor) are very good, with clearly high-quality audio. However, from a functional perspective, I think they are lacking. They are quite heavy and have medium to small cups that make your ears red after a while (even in 10-year-old children). The headband does not have the ability to be clearly adjusted and relies on a spring function of the intermediate blade, which I have some doubts about whether it will withstand over time.
PURCHASED AT €80
As a user of many headphones, not only for gaming but also for "serious" headphones (always within a realistic budget for my wallet, I don't have money to burn), I give my ratings below.
Sound: 7.5/10 // Nice sound, for some it may not be as bass-heavy as they like, although I had no issues with the "quantity" of bass but rather with the "color" of the bass (it's not bad, it's just that if you listen to dt990/dt770/FH3/etc. you start to understand what "color" means in sound) and the mid/highs are very decent.
Microphone: 5/10 // It does the job, that's about it.
Comfort: 7/10 // Quite comfortable, with slightly softer ear cushions and a more cushioned headband it would be a comfortable 9/10 (only fabric cushions get a 10/10 from me).
Battery: 6.5/10 // The battery is relatively good, but if you have long sessions or, like me, use them on the PC, they require more frequent charging than I would like.
Connectivity: 8/10 // I'm a bit annoyed that they didn't include Bluetooth for mobile devices, but you can get a usb C (or usb micro for older phones) to usb A adapter. The range is generally good, but being 2.4Ghz, if you want to go to the other end of the house (tested in a 110sqm apartment) it's a bit on the edge and has some interference depending on how crowded the frequency is.
Appearance: 9/10 // Subjective field, but simply beautiful and nice to hold without the gamer look that I don't like.
3D sound: -/10 // 3D in headphones is overrated, with the DT990 and FH3 (just audiophile headphones) that I have spent plenty of time with, they do their job just fine. 3D has to do with software, not the headphones themselves.
OVERALL: 8.5/10 // For the price (€80), they are wireless, beautiful, quite comfortable if you take some breaks, with nice sound, decent battery life, and a microphone that, if not good, does its job well enough. I consider them the "go-to" wireless gaming headset for the price. As well as generally the most value for money, as the more you spend over €100, the less value you get for your money for the extra performance you get
Poor construction quality, very uncomfortable to use, after two hours of gaming my head hurt from the pressure on my ears, they are not worth their money, they only have the name. Razer Kraken at half the price has amazing quality.
These headphones have exceptional 3D sound and a microphone, and can also be connected via a jack cable to portable devices, but they do not offer their full experience. When used in games that support 3D, the experience is completely different. The charging time is about 2.5 hours and they last for 12 hours depending on usage. They are my second best purchase for headphones after the Razer Kraken 7.1, which, although 6 years old, still provide good sound. I highly recommend them.
Very good construction, I hope they last a long time! I'm using them with my PS5 while playing God of War, which now supports 3D audio, and I have to say the experience is really nice! After 2 hours of gaming, my ears got a little tired, but it's okay. At the 80€ price point I got them for, it's a good deal for what they offer.
If it connected directly without the use of a Bluetooth USB, it would be the ultimate gadget. Otherwise, I have enjoyed it very much, especially at night.
Very good headphones with perfect bass and quite comfortable. 3D audio is not supported by all games, but in games like Returnal, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and generally in shooter games, it helps to determine where the sound is coming from. Overall, it is a very good headset, but the only negative is that you have to use the adapter to use it as a wireless headset.
After a while, the cover of the headphone started to come off and when we asked Sony's service, they told us that there is no replacement... One star minus because it is not justified by the usage at this point and due to the lack of replacement.
