Regarding: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Illustrated Edition

First, I want to comment on the weight of the book. A 1.5-kilogram book. How exactly is this book read? Only if you place it on a desk. It is neither meant to be held in the air nor supported on yourself. The original book was half a kilogram. Moreover, its size makes it completely impractical, neither for reading nor for transport. As for the illustrations, personally, I did not like the art style. Generally, there is one image every 6 pages. If you have not seen any movies or video games at all, meaning you lack a visual representation of the world, it might somewhat enhance your experience. Overall, I find the illustrated edition unnecessary and the execution not practical at all.

For the text of the book, there is little I can add to what has already been written over the years. It is a legendary series and as first books for young people and teenagers, they are amazing. The important thing in this specific edition by MinaLima is the fantastic illustration and the cutouts that are included. They truly bring the book to life and it is a real gem for the library. It is also a very good suggestion for a gift, even for someone who already has the regular editions. And at the price of 20 euros that I bought it for, it's a steal! The only somewhat negative thing is its weight, which might tire someone depending on how they hold it while reading.

Wonderful book!! The best I have ever read. I finished it in 5 days. Its constant interest, amazing imagination, and creative plot are the main elements that drive me to recommend it to other readers who are looking for an interesting book!!

The book was purchased as a gift. A very good choice for children aged 9-11, in order to get in touch with literature and reading. The story is interesting, the protagonists are children (which enhances the interest of young readers) and it refers to a fantasy world where there are wizards, mythical creatures, etc.

I will talk about the whole series and not so much about the specific book. First of all, I want to say that even if you are older, you can still read the series because it is truly a masterpiece that has no equal! It is a series that you will love as soon as you finish it and you will want more (However, do not read "The Cursed Child"). The characters all seem real, each with their flaws, some you will love and some you will hate. Hogwarts could very well exist, as well as all the places mentioned in the series! I'm telling you, if you are even slightly intrigued by the plot, you will be amazed once you read it!

Now, be careful, if you have seen the movies, I truly feel sorry for what you did to yourself. If you have seen 2-3 movies, it's okay, if you haven't seen anything about this series, get ready for a magical journey that you will never forget!

(This review is made by a 10-year-old child) I really liked this book a lot. Of course, I would say that Hagrid should have transformed Dobby completely, but anyway, details. However, I am sure that you will like it, so go ahead and get it. I may have given it four stars, but let me tell you, I am a tough critic. If I give someone five stars, it means their book is fantastic. So be sure about that. Four stars are actually very good because, as I mentioned before, I give very strict evaluations.

I imagine everyone knows the story, so I will talk about the book from a quality perspective. It is excellent, sturdy, with correctly sized letters, good work on the binding, and the cartoon on the cover is exceptional.

I bought it for my 9-year-old grandson who is starting to read on his own now. He is extremely satisfied and takes it everywhere with him (although it is quite heavy). He has, of course, seen the movie and recognizes faces and situations, so he progresses at his own pace. I recommend it as a gift for all nine-year-olds.

What can one say about this book series..! Personally, it was the one that introduced me to the world of books (it was the first "big" book I read with encouragement from my sister in the 3rd grade and since then I haven't stopped reading). It is a series full of intrigue, twists, interesting characters, and a plot that never tires! I highly recommend it, it is the perfect gift for any child for Christmas!
