The AOC monitor is aimed at demanding users looking for a good gaming monitor. It features Full HD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.5ms response time, and FreeSync Premium support, ideal for those seeking smooth and uninterrupted performance in games. Additionally, the 1500R curvature helps gamers enjoy their games in the best possible way.
240Hz refresh rate
240Hz unleash the latest technology graphics cards, bringing fluidity to your screen's image. With every detail sharply focused and every movement clearly displayed, feel your reactions keep pace with the action and upgrade your game.
FreeSync Premium
Enjoy the best picture quality even in fast-paced games. AMD FreeSync Premium technology ensures that the refresh rates of the GPU and the screen are synchronized, providing a smooth gaming experience with high performance.
AMD FreeSync Premium features a refresh rate of at least 120Hz, reducing blur and sharpening the image for a more vibrant experience. The LFC function eliminates the risk of stutter if the frame rate drops below the refresh rate.
1500R Curved
The curved design will make you think that the action of the game surrounds you, putting you at the center of the action and offering you an exciting experience!
Response time 0.5ms
The pixel response time of 0.5ms means speed without blurring, for an improved experience. Fast action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the negative effects of ghosting.
Minimal Distraction
Expand your view with a multi-monitor setup. The narrow bezel and frameless design offer minimal distraction for the ultimate battle station.
AOC Shadow Control and AOC Game Color
Take the battle out of the shadows with AOC Shadow Control and AOC Game Color! Adjust the gray levels for better image detail and brighten dark areas or immerse them back into black on the fly, without affecting the rest of the screen.
6 Game Modes
Adjust the screen to the game with the click of a button. Switch settings between built-in presets for FPS, racing, or RTS games or customize your own ideal conditions and save them. The AOC settings keyboard makes it quick and easy to switch profiles or adjust features.
G-Menu
The AOC G-Menu is a free tool that you can install on your computer for full customization combined with maximum convenience for any AOC or AGON monitor.
Compatible with consoles
It is not only designed to work with computer towers but is also compatible with consoles. You can easily connect it to Xbox or PlayStation and enjoy excellent image quality.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can
report it here.
The screen itself is not necessarily bad, it is a budget 240hz that does its job, but there are many problems with it. The colors compared to a good IPS monitor are a huge downgrade, the screen is 1080p on a 27" which leads to a less attractive image, and the ghosting (which is when you can see previous frames along with the next ones) is annoying.
In other words, because the panel is VA, it makes it look worse than any IPS. If you haven't used an IPS monitor and find this screen for €160 or less, I would say it's worth it despite its negatives (hence the 3 stars), but if you are an IPS panel user all these years and are looking for an upgrade within this price range, don't get this monitor and look for an IPS panel that may be slightly more expensive but has much greater value for €50. Also, in order to use this 0.5ms response time, you need to enable overdrive in the screen settings, which makes the ghosting even worse.
TL;DR if you are on a strict budget, this is okay but it has problems that you can find in other VA monitors, so it's better to look for an IPS monitor if you want better colors and no ghosting
The problem with these screens, you should know, is the warranty policy. Even if they are new and something happens to the panel pixels, etc., they do not replace the panel with a new one, but with one that has been repaired. They say it will be functional, but when I heard that, I was shocked and I have bought 2 screens
I have had this monitor for 1 year now and it has not caused me any problems. It is very fast and has the perfect curve with 1080 resolution for gaming. It is ideal for those who are new to computers and want to achieve 240 Hz. To do this, you need to go to settings-display-advanced display settings and set it to 240
Initially, it is very good. It has about 4 settings for HDR, while in the specifications it says it does not support it. Then, I was shocked by the assembly of it... IT DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING. The support just clicked satisfactorily on the back of the screen and the base on the support... very simple... Informative, you need to go into settings to set it to work at 240hz. It also comes with 2 HDMI cables and 1 DP, and has a headphone input and of course with the power cable. That's all I had to say... I was very satisfied, it's worth every penny
It is not worth it in any case, no matter how good it is. I have had it for only 4 months, I shook the desk to clean it one day and with a minimal shake of the screen, it broke internally without ever being hit or dropped. When I spoke to AOC, they told me they couldn't do anything because it was breakage from a 'hit' and they couldn't do anything for me. The good features it has are not worth it at all if with a shake you won't have a screen. I do not recommend it to anyone and I am sorry that I wasted my money on this company.
I have had it for about 2 months and it hasn't given me any problems. Additionally, it is very easy on the eyes, as I use it for almost 6 hours a day and it doesn't bother me at all. For me, it is an ideal monitor for gaming primarily.
It is one of the best screens on the market, offering a lot for very little. Clear image, impeccable response rate, and good colors. I recommend it 100%
I bought it after reading the reviews here. It has a pretty good screen and is very reasonably priced for its value (200 euros). I recommend it for someone who wants a decent screen for mid-range gaming.
I bought this monitor for gaming and it's worth its money. It has a very good response time and looks pretty good for games. The 240 Hz make it a really good choice for gamers.
The best choice for a 200€ purchase. It elevates gaming to the level you desire. The screen had a burnt pixel from the first day of use, but that is not a reason for a negative comment, as the response from AOC and the replacement were immediate.
Well guys, this screen is amazing because the price I bought it for, €216, is the perfect thing - 240 Hz 0.5 MS. The screen is literally amazing, especially for gaming. The quality and colors are very true and it gives a nice feeling when you look at it.
I have noticed some issues with the screen. When I enable Freesync, my screen flickers around the edges. Overall, I don't think the software is that great. Although I tried the Freesync feature on a heavy graphics game, I didn't notice any impact on FPS or Input Lag. You can also easily see pixels in certain areas of the screen.
Despite these issues, I still believe the screen is worth its price due to its impressive specifications. I wanted to mention these concerns and hope that my experience can help others who are considering purchasing a similar screen.
Switching from a 24" 60Hz and 7ms monitor to this one is like night and day. I don't find its menu difficult once you learn it. You can easily adjust the image to your liking for any use, as we all perceive colors and intensity differently.
I would give it 5 stars if the menu was a bit easier, of course you have to download an application, but anyway, it was purchased for 240 euros, take it with closed eyes guys, wherever you find it, grab it for up to 270.
The screen is great, I've had it for 6 months and everything is going well. It's very good for both gaming and watching movies and YouTube. For me, it's a very good choice at the price it's at (230€).
Model 27"
One week in my possession and I am very satisfied!
The only negative is its complexity, but it can be overcome!
I highly recommend it for its value!
Just in my first month, too many pixels burned out, unfortunately it disappointed me. At least I had an immediate response from the company and we are proceeding with a replacement.
Currently, they are offering the alien almost at the same price or with a 50 euro difference, I wish I hadn't rushed.
Also, the 27-inch is too big.
The 25-inch was ideal for me, they told me too, but unfortunately I didn't listen to them.
Overall, it's a decent monitor that does what it says, but 1080 pixels are not enough to cover the 27-inch.
Very good monitor
240hz is the best for fps games
The only thing I didn't like is that the base doesn't go up and down
Otherwise, it's perfect, I have no complaints
Bought for 200€ on Black Friday
Perfect screen especially for gaming (if you don't intend to use it for gaming, don't get this one). I found it for €270 and I believe it's worth getting for a price up to €330, as it has a 0.5ms response time, 240hz, and a VA panel which is very good. You need to be sure about the space as the base is quite large. If you have limited space on your desk, I would recommend hanging it on the wall with a short arm. Reliable company, if you find it for €300 or less, grab it, it's worth it.
Guys, let's not idolize the screen for 250, it's okay, not perfect or anything. My keyboard costs 125 euros and that's because I couldn't find a better, cheaper one, let alone if you want a good screen... logically, you have to spend money on a screen and it has to be what we call Ideal!!!!
