  I bought it to replace my 15-year-old top-of-the-line creative and only for an upgrade to the new PC.... Let's start with the positives: a large bass cabinet with 8-inch speakers and the hole in the right dimensions for the bass and the airflow of the woofer. It's a compact bass without exaggerations and tiring sounds.... (And it scares away the rodents haha) The screen and the five-meter are in the right position, although I would prefer the screen to be brighter... The FM radio is excellent, it has good selectivity! With the antenna cable rolled up, it even catches the weakest stations... The peripheral speakers are decent, but if you have a good ear for music, you can tell that they play as mid-range speakers and the trebles are almost absent. The control is very good!! It catches without aiming, performing all the functions.... The negatives: a 1.20m cable??? I wonder how a company with at least 60 years in sound can be stingy with copper?? For the 40-inch TV, you need to extend the cable on one channel if you place them on the right or left. The aux needs the volume of the PC to be increased to get at least the same volume as my PC... It produces a very low noise with the wireless phone next to it (it's not annoying) when it's on standby. The on/off switch is behind the cabinet.... I recommend it as a purchase (Ok guys, it's Akai!!) but with the condition of adding two car tweeters to the two peripheral speakers... I installed two car tweeters worth 6€ and the sound system skyrocketed to 100% volume!!!! Fidelity!!! Clarity!!! The whispers in a song and the voices of actors in a movie are finally crystal clear. I wonder!!!! about the Akai technicians, didn't they "think about it???" "They're doing it a disservice, for such a minimal cost, by not installing tweeters, but they included it as a decorative design.... I may have tired you guys, but I believe I helped...
