Unfortunately, the surround speakers of the Samsung Q950A do not fit. The screws included in the package do not screw into the speaker threads.
Except for the fact that the screw holding the speaker base to the column breaks easily when screwing it in, the stands are just fine. My feet fit under the couch and they don't go anywhere.
Good sturdy bases, beautiful worth their money, relatively easy assembly, I just don't give 5 stars because the screws they have for supporting the speakers are fake "cut" you will need other ones if you "force" them a little.
Quite a good stand, discreet and relatively stable for the small size satellites [https://www.skroutz.gr/s/328224/Logitech-Z906-Icheia-Ypologisti-5-1-me-Ischy-500W-se-Mayro-CHroma.html] I installed. If it is placed in areas such as next to the TV and the couch, there is absolutely no problem with their stability. However, if there are children with balls, etc., I would definitely consider buying something more stable with a heavier base. The construction quality is quite good, with most parts being metallic except for the point that hides the rear screw and the plastic cable. It is easy to install and the cable passes through the base internally, so it is not visible. There is also appropriate height adjustment. I bought two pairs and I am completely satisfied.
The cover for the screws protrudes on my speakers.
Also, the screw that holds the tube to the base of the speaker does not tighten easily. I have an LG Home Cinema.
Amazing price, I got them for €21 without shipping!!!
For their price, they are honest. Cheap construction but fully functional and discreet. The bases that the speakers are mounted on are plastic, so they are not suitable for heavy weight. I did not encounter any problems at all during assembly!
The Samsung Q930B surround speakers theoretically do not fit because the screws included in the package do not screw into the speaker threads.
But the "problem" was solved by purchasing suitable extra screws.
I would recommend placing them in a location that is not exposed (e.g. behind the couch), especially if there are children in the house, because they are not very stable (especially if the speakers are a bit heavier).
I have the Logitech z906 and the screws that come with the bases in the package don't fit, they are too thin. Also, the plastic parts they have are not of very good quality.
It looks very good as a first impression, very economical. Personally, I used it for the SPK-8, the screws it has inside DO NOT fit and you need to buy shorter ones (they are too long and don't tighten) unless you have washers and tighten them that way. Personally, I don't need to pass the cables through it as I have them in a hidden place and it doesn't bother me, but I tried out of curiosity and couldn't do it, somewhere they were getting stuck inside the tube and no matter how hard I tried, they wouldn't go through, I gave up after about 5 minutes of continuous trying.
Perfect bases and very affordable, minimal and very discreet, they are worth their money!!
It is value for money if you don't want to make holes in the wall.
I had read the comments and I was prepared for a difficult installation of the cables, but everything went well.
Definitely value for money, although it is a bit difficult to thread the cable through the two tubes. I managed to solve it by attaching the speaker cable with masking tape to a wire.
Other than that, the speaker mount did not support my speakers (Pioneer HTP-076) or I didn't understand how to do it, as they don't have threads but are wall-mounted, so I used my own brackets for mounting, as shown in the photo.
Sturdy as needed.
I would buy them again.
It does its job, which is to support almost all speakers available on the market in proportionate size! Value for money is one of the few!
I put the LG speakers on the back for soundbar, which are normally wireless !!!
They are very convenient and stable, I would say quite, if you have small children, it may have some issues as their base is not so heavy and you may find it on the floor!!!
But overall, very good speakers!
For their money, they are fine... As other users mentioned, I also had an issue with the screws' rotations.
Beautiful stand, practical, with many options to place the speaker. It shakes a little but at this price, you can't have it all. It's worth every penny.
It's fine. I bought it for the surround speakers of the Samsung Q950A. The stability is good. The only negative is that it requires different screws. The ones included in the packaging are not suitable for these specific speakers.
Attention is required in the assembly, regarding the connection of the support bases to the pipes, satisfactory support of the speakers (additional screws may be required).
Good for its price....a little sensitive, needs to be careful not to be moved by children....or anything else...the back covers broke for me...but it still holds up after 3-4 years of use!!! I don't know where I will find replacement covers though..
Everything is fine. I installed the LG Spk8-s. The application could be a little better in terms of how they fit. I easily passed the cables by simply bending the metal edges to make it smoother to pass through.
Very good purchase (18 euros). I have no issues with satellite stability. Regarding the cable, if the speaker manufacturer terminates it in RCA type, it doesn't pass through the small leg of the stand, unless the cable is disconnected from the speaker side. In my case, the Logitech z2200 is fixed, so I secured them with black cable ties and it doesn't visually bother for the desk. Still, they are very honest for their price, so feel free to get them.
EDIT: The dimensions of the bases are 19x19 cm. The 25x25 cm stated by skroutz is incorrect.
Very good for its price. I easily passed the cables from bottom to top and assembled them very easily. Quite stable
They are very good stands for small rear speakers. I don't know if they will hold heavier ones. It takes a little patience to put the cables in, but it's not difficult.
For their money, they are great. The weight is a bit difficult to screw under the base, but otherwise, it's fine.
For the small size of the rear surround speakers that I wanted to install, they are satisfactory. They are not very stable and I do not recommend them if they are going to be exposed.
I have absolutely NO complaints whatsoever!!!!! The cables are hidden inside the base tube..... BRILLIANT!!!!! Perfect for a living room without looking like a mess of cables!!!!
Easy and simple to assemble, adjustable in height, it seems quite sturdy construction. Underneath the base shown in the photos, a weight is placed into which the "pipe" is screwed to make it more stable. Okay, it's not "rock solid" but it won't fall on its own. The only objection is that the base on which the speakers are mounted (there are 2-3 ways for different speakers) is plastic, so it's not for very heavy weight, it will probably be enough for the usual small surround speakers. Time will tell how long it will last.. Overall, though, for about 20 euros.. they are excellent!
Very unstable bases. They are excellent if they are going to be placed in areas that are not accessible by anyone. In areas where people pass by, like a living room for example, the bases with the speakers will fall with the slightest touch.
Also, the way the speaker is screwed onto the base has the advantage that you don't drill into the speaker, but it feels like it's hanging by a thread.
I would lean towards something more sturdy, perhaps more wall-mounted instead of floor-standing.
