Thick, soft, absorbent, warm sock. Maybe too thick to wear with everyday shoes, the shoe should be spacious. If the shoe is not leather (e.g. rain boot), it may sweat with the sock. I would buy it again, it was warm and comfortable, the elastic on the calf, although it looked tight, did not bother.
