The HyperX Alloy Origins features HyperX Red mechanical switches with RGB lighting and is made of aluminum to remain stable and resistant to impacts. It has keyboard feet that allow you to choose from three different tilt levels and a detachable USB Type-C cable for easy transport. Additionally, with the HyperX NGENUITY software, you can create macros and customize the lighting as you wish.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Perfect lighting (adjustable), excellent clarity, flawless design & finish (matte), extremely sturdy construction (aluminum). Highly recommended...
I have had it in my possession for a year and I can say that it is one of the best keyboards I have bought. It is very sturdy, and the keys have a great feel when typing. One small issue I have found is that one key (the "d" key) doesn't pop up as easily, which probably means something has fallen inside. Purchase price: around 90€
After 4 months of use, I was very satisfied until recently I started hearing the springs in the keyboard quite loudly. Apart from that, it is very sturdy and beautiful in terms of construction, with vibrant LEDs, no complaints. However, the sound of the springs is somewhat annoying...
I bought it on sale for €60 during Black Friday! I was looking for a TKL keyboard mainly for my laptop, so I could have it further away and connect an additional monitor! It's very good, sturdy, and its switches don't make annoying noise and have instant response! The only thing I will say is, don't prefer to connect it through a cheap USB Hub, because it causes interruptions. Now, if you have a more premium hub, I imagine it will be fine. I connected it directly to the laptop and the interruptions stopped.
He lived for 6 months... Very annoying that the cable is not integrated into the keyboard, that's what caused the problem after a fall. The port got bent immediately and the cable didn't make contact. Additionally, some of the keys would easily come off and fall out. Finally, it is very heavy. I expected it to be better, what a shame.
Divine keyboard, its red switches are very good and almost silent, the keycaps are durable, the construction is quite heavy so the keyboard doesn't move with the slightest movement and has powerful RGB. It has options for color brightness, many color options, and the function buttons simplify computer usage (lower/increase sound volume, change/stop songs on Spotify).
The keyboard is one of the best you will find at similar prices (70-100€), let alone it's worth much more.
Anyone considering buying it, I highly recommend it as they won't regret it
I received them today and found them on sale for 65 instead of the usual 100. The construction is incredibly good, the sound is very good for my taste, and the cable is very complete. I would have preferred the keys to be a little heavier, but that's subjective. The RGB lighting is also very nice and overall I am impressed, I must say. If you find it on sale, I definitely recommend it!
Very good keyboard with very good build quality (aluminum!). There are plenty of color combinations without the software, which I did not try. Cleaning is a bit troublesome but it was expected.
Excellent keyboard. Very good and sturdy construction, good key feel and most importantly, not too noisy.
I have been using it for about six months now and I am excited! Personally, I really like the feel of the aqua switches, but that's a matter of preference (these switches are tactile). They are not particularly noisy when pressed and have an immediate response. In my opinion, and considering that it is one of the cheaper high-end keyboards on the market, if you find it for 70-80 €, it is definitely worth it!
Extra tip: I have also added the pudding keycaps, which personally slightly reduced the quality of the feel (the original ones were a bit nicer to touch), but they do not collect grease from the fingers!
Very nice keyboard, I bought it because I wanted it to have high Key rollover and I am very satisfied! In terms of noise, the keys sound quite low, so it covers me there too! 5 stars from me! If I find any negatives, I will return!
Good evening to everyone.
I bought the Hyper X alloy origins (Hyper X Aqua). I have had it for 4 months. Very good keyboard in all aspects. The only issue I encounter is that when I put the PC in sleep mode, there are several times now that after I press, for example, the space bar to enter Windows while the PC is being activated normally, the keyboard seems completely disconnected. None of the buttons work at all! I replaced it with a new one and still the same! Is there anyone else facing a similar issue? I have already done a reset and it didn't help at all.
UPDATE: In the end, I returned it to the store and got the STEEL SERIES APEX 7 and I am relieved...
The keyboard is very good for its price, it has very good switches and it is very smooth. And because it is all metallic, it doesn't bend at all. The RGB is very bright and the colors are very accurate.
EDIT 15/4/2022:
My keyboard had some issues with some keys not registering, so I took it for service. After a week, they told me it was faulty and since they didn't have it available anymore, I asked for a refund and it was successfully approved. I ordered it from another store for a cheaper price of 69 euros. Overall, I am satisfied with the keyboard and I ordered it again because it is one of the best keyboards I have ever had
The keyboard as hardware is excellent. Full RGB, flawless proprietary switches, OLED caps lock indicator screen, USB type C, and made entirely of aluminum. The stabilizers are just satisfactory and the keys are made of ABS, not PBT. The software is garbage and that's the important downside. For example, if the software is running in the background and the computer is in sleep mode, the keyboard will freeze and won't work until we do a shutdown, happening one out of three times. If the software is not running, everything is fine and the keyboard works with the built-in memory and the settings we chose. So, if someone emphasizes the hardware and not the software, it is a top-notch keyboard at an excellent price (in other companies it would cost around 180-200€ for something similar).
edit 1/1/2022
With the new update to the software (Ngenuity), it seems that the issues with the keyboard freezing in sleep mode have been resolved.
The best pre-built keyboard on the market for me, its switches are far superior to cherry red and it has a very nice finish with a metallic construction. I liked its switches so much that I'm considering lubing them, but it requires desoldering first. Its stabilizers are terrible, like all pre-builts. Also, its cable is on the right side, which I don't like at all, either put it on the left or in the middle...
I have been using the keyboard for 3 weeks and based on this experience, I am making the evaluation.
Smooth switches, heavy, sturdy construction, blinding lights (if you're into that) and software that will cover me and most people with the effects it offers.
The only negative thing I find is that the keycaps easily collect fingerprints. I am sending a photo as an example on the shift key which I use a lot because of the shooters I play. Of course, these things can be changed so it's not a big deal.
For its price, I believe it is very good.
100% The best value for money keyboard out there. Impeccable build quality. The Hyperx Aqua keys that I got are the smoothest tactile switches I have ever used. The lighting is simply amazing. The only negative is that the cable is on the right side of the keyboard, but that is just a preference. Other than that, it is definitely worth the money.
Impeccable construction quality
Unbelievable typing sensation
The RGB is eye-catching at 100%
Bought for 82 euros, I believe it's worth its money!
Well, the feeling of the keys is divine, very soft, they don't make much noise, they are heavy and don't move from their position while also responding instantly. The lights are very bright and the letters on the keys are visible even without the lights being turned on.
I bought it for 100 euros and it is the best keyboard I have ever held in my hands! Congratulations to HyperX
Fantastic with everything it has! Solid, good for writing and great for gaming. Completely satisfied! (TKL)
