Without the jug, there is a strong smell and taste of chlorine in the tap water, of course, while with the jug, both disappear, as if I am drinking bottled water.
The only thing someone should "pay attention to" is that if they change the filter (or put the first one), they should do 4-5 refills and empty the water before drinking to clean the filter.

It does a great job with chlorine and rust taste in the water, and this is immediately noticeable. The coffee (espresso) with the water from the pitcher simply has a better taste. Easy to clean.
Cons: It doesn't do much with salts, as there are still quite a few residues in the kettle, almost the same as before using the pitcher. The filters are a bit expensive, unless bought in bulk.

Secondly, it is the best solution for the job as you don't need to have it delivered or go out to buy it, and of course, there is no installation required. For the same reason, it can even be used on vacations.
Thirdly, you don't drink plastic residues but fresh water that has been sitting for a few hours at worst. Additionally, you don't have to carry bottles and you never run out.
Fourth and most importantly, you have an incentive and a measurement that personally had an effect on me, going from drinking half to one liter a day to reaching 2 to 4 liters a day and enjoying it. I feel noticeably more hydrated and have better mood and energy.
I got one for work and 5 days later I got another one for home for all the reasons mentioned above.
The cost is ridiculous for a year's worth of advantages over everything mentioned above.
