The photovoltaic panel AS-6P30 of the company Amerisolar is polycrystalline, which means it is made up of multiple fragments of silicon, unlike the monocrystalline panel which has only one crystal. Since there are multiple crystals in each cell, there is less freedom for the electrons to move. As a result, polycrystalline solar panels do not have better performance than monocrystalline panels, but they are more economical.

Great performance for a polycrystalline panel. I have been using it for years and recently bought another set of four for an upgrade, and they all work perfectly.
Under no circumstances should you buy it, and if it breaks, ask for a replacement for free. It has a warranty, but the cells burn easily. Very poor quality
I bought 4 pieces in September '21 and since they were performing well, I bought another 2 in February '22. In mid-May, one of the panels I had purchased in September suddenly stopped working. With full sunlight, it was only producing around 20W, and after checking the rest, I found that the other panels I had purchased in September also had reduced power compared to the ones I bought in February. I don't know how long they will last, but so far I am not satisfied at all. The faulty panel has been sent for inspection to determine if it is covered by warranty. I will provide an update later.
UPD: After a lot of hassle for about 2 months, the dealership accepted and proceeded with replacing the faulty panel with a new one.
I bought 10 pieces. At 146€/panel.
-I haven't reached the watts it claims under normal operating conditions yet (800w/m2 sun, 45c panel, 210w expected output).
I'm waiting for summer to update the review. (update: nothing changed, increased temperature negatively affected panel performance)
-I didn't like the quality of the cells. They look damaged at the edges. (see the edges in the picture that appear discolored)
-Do not buy them for 140+ euros under any circumstances.
You can find them much cheaper per panel.
At 100€, I give them 6 stars, but at 140+, I can't overlook defects in the cells and not reach the watts even in the nocturnal period, which is 210w per panel.
In general, keep in mind that the 285w it claims can be achieved under 1000w/m2 sun and 20c panel temperature.
For the panel to be 20c, it needs to be outside at 0c, and in Greece, we reach 1000w/m2 in the summer when the panels reach 50-55c. So, you can achieve those numbers in temperatures of the North Pole with Sahara sun. Obviously, it's not possible.
So calculate the watts you see on the panel * 0.74. And for other panels, it's around the same. Of course, adjust your needs accordingly.
I expect the 2850w to give me ~2100W/h under normal conditions.
For the hours, calculate an average of 4 hours for Thessaloniki and 4.2 for Athens, 4.5 hours for Crete and Peloponnese.
So 2.1kw * 4 = 8.4kwh * 365 ~= 3000kwh per year -200 ~ 500 kwh losses from the inverter. 2500 - 2800kwh per year.
(The hours in the calculation take into account cloudiness, that's why it's * 365. Also, it's the average, and in winter, you will have much less than in summer. This matters if you don't want to be connected to the power grid.)
Very disappointed with Amerisolar at the same price and slightly cheaper, the Luxor 285W turned out fine.
The panels continue to have very good performance. I have over 15 pieces installed in a photovoltaic system and in a standalone system with batteries. Their performance is as if I installed them today. I don't know what's happening with other friends who report problems, but they work perfectly for me. Because I compare them with other panels of the same wattage from a different brand that I have in the installation, their performance is much better, even in cloudy conditions.

I have over ten pieces that are working in a photovoltaic installation. The performance is as if I installed them today. They still have excellent performance. I must mention that in the installation, there is a POWER OPTIMIZER on each panel. I am very satisfied. Even in cloudy conditions, they have very good performance.

The panels are performing very well. Excellent panel. Great performance even in cloudy conditions. Worth it.

The panel continues to have excellent performance. I have used around ten pieces, and all of them have excellent performance. Also, be careful where you purchase them. There are much lower prices than what you see.

The panels continue to have very good performance.
Measurement today with multimeter 33 volts 28/11/2022
very low performance compared to other brands
I have it installed in my setup, I consider it very expensive for what it offers in terms of quality.
