The Pioneer Evo MX436 Evolve by LS2 is a on-off helmet, that is, a combination of full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin and visor than the motocross helmet but is heavier. It is made of thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material of high strength. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

It was purchased as a replacement for my old NOLAN helmet for use in relaxed off-road trips in the mountains (for grass and mushrooms), with my old XT 600, which is 30 years old, and it is exactly what I wanted.
It has an easy fastening, very good fit, and visibility with a large field of vision on the sides. The sunvisor is perfect (I loved it), and the additional reflective stickers are excellent.
In the first test, up to 120 km, I found it quite stable on the road and unaffected by mild crosswinds.
The aerodynamic noise (with the visor) is very loud after 80 km, so at 90 km it functions as a "cutter", which is welcomed for my age (>64) and the age of my motorcycle :)
At the price of €150 that the store left it to me, I consider it a very good purchase.
In conclusion, it is an affordable and decent recommendation!
I have an Aprilia Tuareg and I use the helmet inside the city for rides on the national road and off-road.
The most important thing... It is lightweight!! Good fit, the materials are a bit plasticky-fake but overall it is a good construction for the 170 euros I paid. I consider it very good value for money and suitable for adventure riding, meaning off-road trips, rides, and work
I bought the helmet mainly because of its nice appearance. Like other reviews, I will also mention that it does produce some noise after 70 km/h. Personally, I didn't mind because I already had an on/off road helmet and the noise wouldn't bother me with the windscreen of the motorcycle. At the same time, I live in a small town, so I don't often exceed 80 km/h.
I believe that the helmet is suitable for everyday use and short distances (100-150 km route) and for motorcycles with a windscreen. Otherwise, for long trips, it might be tiring in terms of noise.
Also, I would like to mention that a good extra purchase is the tinted visor
I will give it 3 stars, as many as its positives.
1. Beautiful helmet
2. Lightweight
3. Very good visibility
Negatives:
1. Noise. I don't mean just any noise.. I ride a crf300l. The bike doesn't have fairing and the noise after 80 is deafening! I don't know why this happens! Better off without a helmet. For a 40-minute ride, I had to stop to rest my ears. I bought earplugs, nothing. Same thing.. I will try to close the vents with tape and I will come back with impressions.. It's really a shame and it's beautiful.
UPDATE... after a month, I noticed that all the noise entering the helmet comes from the bottom. So, with the extra aerodynamic visor that is included in the package but I hadn't noticed, the noise is significantly reduced! It's really not the same. So, I change my rating and from 3 stars, I give it 4.. for its price, it's really good!
Very lightweight, EPIC visibility. Obviously, it has a lot of noise, even if you remove the visor. However, it is my commuting helmet as it never fogs up and has an amazing field of view, as they say in my village.
I am not one of those who ask for a lot from an object. ..But with this helmet, I think I got a lot more than what I paid for!
Perfect fit, super visibility, with a very good internal sun visor. ..(ok subjective) but in terms of design and appearance. ....The most beautiful helmet I have ever seen!
(After 100 km there is noise on the V-Strom 1000, but it is expected and I would say tolerable)
Personally (maybe not applicable to everyone), I was very bothered by the noise produced by the helmet from the free exhausts!
I think it is due to the slots for intercom and the fact that there is almost no insulation in that area with a cushion..As a result...I had to add a sponge myself (with not very good results) there so I wouldn't go crazy from the mess!
Anyway, congratulations to LS2
I have been using it for two weeks already. It was purchased from the MotoKinisi store in Chalandri. The helmet fits perfectly on my head, providing full visibility, more than a regular full-face helmet. The only downside is the aerodynamic noise, but it is common for helmets of this type.
