The emergence and gradual consolidation of the new European economic governance, as a result of the crisis, raises serious political and constitutional issues, as restrictions on the exercise of national fiscal and economic policies transform the meaning of the Constitution and national constitutionalism. Faced with the challenges posed by the new regulatory and institutional framework, national constitutionalism undergoes changes and aligns with the trends that are shaping at the European level. The new European economic governance constitutes a dynamic - and still incomplete - process, which cannot yet be fully assessed. However, it has already become apparent that the interaction and interdependence of national constitutional order and European are being set on new terms, as evidenced by the example of our country, where its imprint is evident and rather indelible.
