Because Capcom and the Resident Evil series took me by the hand in 1996 and turned me from a teenager into a man, I can say that I haven't left the series for a moment! On PC, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, GameCube, PS3, and PS4.

For the game, I have to say that it is one of the greatest in the series; playing with friends elevates its value. Available characters are Leon, Chris, Ada, and Sherry, plus 3 additional characters, one of whom could easily carry his own game ;) Jake.

The game changes depending on the character; with Leon, the feel is that of Resident Evil 4, the gameplay with Chris is more military, Ada's borrows elements from Separate Ways from 4, while Sherry's gameplay successfully portrays a newly minted agent with little experience, something that her partner covers!

The feeling that the world is under attack from biological weapons is palpable; unfortunately, the horror element has been sacrificed beyond certain moments and has been replaced by elements of disgust and gore (which doesn't bother me at all). Anyone who sees the transformations in Chris's storyline will understand!

Now the bosses are huge and some are annoying and time-consuming, especially on hard mode. I liked the healing method where you turn plants into tablets.

Overall, it's a title that you will hardly get bored of until you unlock everything. The reason I give it 4 stars is that I miss the horror element, but I also don't mind that it has shifted to more action!

Anyway, the fun is guaranteed!

3rd person shooter, not like the 7th and Village (8) which are first-person shooters and have messed up the "Ball"!?

Anyone who says that this is the best Resident Evil simply has no idea about the series.

It is a nice game but in no way justifies being called Resident Evil.

The best Resident Evil in comparison to the previous old-fashioned and user-unfriendly ones, despite the rave reviews from those who played them 15 years ago, they don't hold up in 2021. Full of action, enjoyable gameplay, and the first Resident Evil game I ever played and then played the rest. For those who want to start with the series, play this one first!

It feels like Resident Evil is not very much of an FPS game, not as much horror as playing Call of Duty in third person with zombies
