Six years after the release of its first edition, "Arabic Grammar for Greeks" returns stronger than ever. The experience from using the first book in classrooms helped us understand the needs of both students and teachers of the Arabic language, adapting the new edition to their requirements. For this reason, extensive exercise sections have been included among the chapters for better assimilation of grammatical phenomena and more complete practice for students. Additionally, new explanatory tables of examples have been provided within the existing chapters or as supplements to them.
"Arabic Grammar for Greeks" thus improves, without ever violating the spirit and philosophy of the first book, which consists of creating a handbook for understanding Arabic grammatical phenomena written in simple language by a Greek who knows Arabic. At the same time, the interest of Greeks in the Arabic language has grown enormously over the past six years amid the major geopolitical upheavals experienced by the Arab world and the refugee flows that followed. The timing is therefore very timely for the new edition, given that gradually the descendants of Arab refugees and immigrants living in our country will seek to reconnect with the language of their countries of origin.
"Wiser" by six years, this work comes to meet all these needs, being the pioneering book of its kind for Greek standards.
