Description

Built-in kitchen hob IT640BSC from manufacturer Gorenje, with 4 cooking zones.
It is an induction type, meaning only the bottom part of the cookware is heated and not the entire stove, resulting in the surrounding area remaining cool to the touch. It uses less energy compared to other types of stoves and cooking time is reduced by half.
As an example, water boils in less than 90 seconds.
It is very easy to clean, as the area around the cookware remains cool, so anything spilled does not heat up and does not stick to the surface.
A prerequisite for this type of stove is that the cookware must be compatible with induction stoves, meaning it must be made of stainless steel or cast iron, as not all types of cookware can be used. Finally, if you have small children, they are considered the safest choice.
Operates autonomously, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in your kitchen that serves you best. It is suitable for combination with a countertop oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the burners.

Temperature and settings selection is done digitally and through touch. All options are located at the bottom of the hob and are integrated into the surface. Therefore, all you need to start cooking is a few gentle touches with your finger.

Review this product
  • Mrs. margarita.fwka, unfortunately, this is how induction cooktops are. They scratch easily and require special attention, like all new products because they have an expiration date. I would like you to answer me something since we have the same model of Gorenje cooktops. In my case, when I go to cook on the cooktop, from temperature 1 to 6, it makes an intermittent loud noise (zzzzz... zzzz... zzzz... and so on) and from temperature 6 to 9 and then on turbo, it makes the same loud noise but continuously and not intermittently. (However, it is loud. With the extractor fan on, it can be heard from 11 steps away). Does your cooktop function like this as well?

I am writing in hopes of getting a response! I have purchased this stove, induction, and I have used both old and new cookware for cooking...the glass has such a scratch that not even a diamond could make! I am truly upset because I have a beautiful kitchen and the glass already looks like it's been used for 15 years after just 3 months of use...I'm afraid to move or slide the pot on top because I will see more scratches! My son moved the pot without knowing what I was going through and made a deep scratch that even caught my nail! I am in shock! Someone please tell me that the glass may be defective...something! In my old kitchen, after 10 years of use, it wasn't like this!
