However, they require high-quality accompanying equipment, especially an amplifier that outputs 100W and above. No matter how much you invest in high-quality equipment, these speakers will reward you. There are users who pair them with amplifiers costing even €5,000. Do not purchase them if you plan to pair them with an amplifier costing €500 - €1,000, as you will not get the performance they are capable of. Attention number 2: Some users are looking for more bass. The LS50 speakers do not lack in this area compared to others in their category, but if your preferences lean towards large full-range speakers, the most common solution is to add an active subwoofer (to the pre-out output of the amplifier). In conclusion, this is a speaker that can accompany you for a lifetime without needing to search for anything else. It is definitely worth every penny, down to the last cent. It is no coincidence that there are still loyal groups of users on social media. Not bad for a product released in 2012! Finally, I would like to emphasize that there are newer passive versions of these speakers, as well as excellent all-in-one active versions, which I would also consider if I were interested. Personally, I have no desire to replace mine with anything else, but rather to equip them with an even better amplifier and sources.
