Description

The N70-2 GT Special N-Com by Nolan is a modular helmet, that is, a combination of full-face and jet helmet. It has a mechanism that opens the front part of the helmet and turns it from full-face to jet. It is easy to wear and safer than a jet helmet, but it is considered less safe compared to a full-face as it breaks into two parts. During driving, the front part of the helmet should remain closed. It is made of thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material of high strength. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

Very good helmet for someone who wants one for everything.. It does what it says and even better with relatively little money... I haven't tried it in the rain yet... For the cold, you will need something extra for better protection... The visibility and usefulness of the helmet are perfect... It has a bit of noise after 90 but it's a minor issue... I would like it to have a built-in lock because you have to exceed 30 to unlock it properly... I hope I helped...

From the first week I got it, the plastic parts that control the airflow into the helmet fell off. They replaced them, but the new ones also got lost due to the wind. The screw on one side of the visor came off twice, they replaced it and in the end they glued it so it wouldn't come off. Apart from the fact that it has very good visibility and is lighter compared to the foldable ones, and doesn't strain the neck, unfortunately I didn't like it in terms of quality and I got tired of constantly going back to the store where I bought it. Now I use it as a second helmet only for deliveries. It's a shame because I had heard that this company produces good helmets, but unfortunately it doesn't

The helmet is very good! Visibility is everything! It's like not wearing a helmet. I come from AGV K4, which has the same weight. Compared to the foldable AGV Numo Evo I have, the N70 is clearly lighter!!! I have also added the special ESS at the back and the helmet is awesome.

After a month of use, it's time for me to give my review. I should note that in recent years I have been wearing only modular helmets, givi and shiro. They have served me well.
Positives: great visibility, very good fit on the head, beautiful and lightweight.
Negatives: the sun visor is terrible, at speeds of 80+ km/h, it shakes and distorts the road for you. I should note that I rarely lower the clear visor, which becomes foggy and just the thought of breathing while wearing it!!
That's about it, I hope I helped a little. Owner of a v strom and I travel long distances due to work.

I bought it as my first scooter helmet (Sym cruisesym 300). Maybe I got a size larger, but I felt better with the L.
The helmet comes in 2 sizes: XS, small, medium in one helmet (with different padding thickness) and large, XL, XXL in a larger size.
The visibility is fantastic, it doesn't restrict the field of vision at all. The anti-fog visor is not needed because it has an air vent that directs air to the visor, automatically clearing it when you reach speeds of 40-50+ km/h. The vents on the top of the helmet do a good job, you don't feel airflow but they dissipate heat. The noise level is very low when all the vents are closed. When they are all open and you go up to 90 km/h, it's like having all four windows of a car open, and the noise decreases as you close them. It has an integrated sun visor that can be lowered and has different levels of coverage.
The helmet is modular, which means the chin guard can be removed by pressing two metal levers and it becomes a JET helmet. However, the visor also protects during the summer as it can be lowered lower than the chin guard and protects against stones, bugs, etc. I think it's the only JET helmet with such a low visor.
The interior can be removed (I haven't done it yet).
There are spare parts available in Greece if needed.
Finally, it has a 5-year warranty and it may be one of the few helmets that is entirely made in Italy compared to others that are designed in the EU and manufactured in China, Vietnam, etc.
If you have a motorcycle and not a scooter with a windscreen, I don't know if it will cover the noise issue at speeds over 90 km/h with the vents open.

P.S.: The weight when wearing the chin guard is 1 kilogram 720 grams (according to the scale). This is relatively heavy for the neck. I prefer it without the chin guard, it's lighter.

Edit: I had an accident, I was hit head-on by a drunk driver - a car going 70-90 km/h while I was standing. I was wearing the helmet and hit my head (on the car's hood) where the roof meets the windshield. The helmet only suffered abrasions as if it had been deeply scratched with a knife. I was also wearing the chin guard. The abrasions started from the chin guard and went back. The chin guard remained intact, it didn't detach, so I highly recommend it in terms of durability. Definitely buy knee pads and a jacket with strong protection for the chest, shoulders, and back. I didn't buy them and unfortunately, I thought it wouldn't happen to me...
