Description
The concept of dance takes on a political tone and weight when it invades social relationships and can interrupt civil wars. No, it does not establish relationships of harmony and love, but it does bring together the bodies of opponents in the unconscious effort of everyone to step out of the planet, to react - because their instincts command them to - to the forces of gravity. Civil wars will never stop as long as people are divided into those who give orders and those who execute them. However, dance - like festivals - stops the madness of divisions, proclaiming that besides power (authority), there is also justice, love. (How does that sound?)
Dance is primitive, it is the art of living, the foundation of peace, a transformative way, gracefully popular, a companion of entertainment, tenderness, and outcry, soothing the mania and the fiery will of a quiet life.
Dance dares to make the unconscious conscious, ridiculing the rigidity of bodies brought about by the culture of discipline, work; it is a springboard for the leap towards self-awareness, as long as everyone accepts it (embraces it) in their everyday life - then the barbaric mechanism of violence, civil wars, is exiled.
Dance opposes the indifference of nature - and the Universe. It intensifies the urge for flight, it is what the mind cannot conceive and language cannot express. It is light and rhythm - it completely disregards Christianity, religious and commercial wars. It is not a game, it is a political act, resistance to sorrow but also to uniformity, to whatever the authorities generate. In the mountains, where dance and civil war are mentioned, everything obeys a cheerful disposition, a playfulness, products of the need for roots (birth, communal coexistence, childhood surprises, vineyards, waters, fruits of the earth, scents, colors, flavors, and so on).
Dance and civil war coexist. They appear as substances and metaphors, and they are formed - here - by a playful disposition; how else? Ultimately, they fight against Greek masochism; the joy of defeating misery and civil wars.
