The N70-2 X Special N-Com from Nolan is an on-off helmet, meaning a combination of a full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin guard and visor than a motocross helmet, but it is heavier. It is made from thermoplastic, a hard material, heavier compared to other materials. It secures with a microlock type buckle, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety standard certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, meaning there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, an internal sunshade, like a glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
After quite a search, I believe that at 280 it was worth its money. It is not a light helmet, 1700 grams, but it has good visibility, good ventilation, it produces noise but based on the price ratio it is a good choice for the quality of materials it offers.
Then you go to another price ratio if you want something lighter and with ventilation that closes, the chin strap, which this helmet offers.
Very good value for money helmet! Lightweight with amazing visibility! The only downside is that it doesn't have good sound insulation, but it's logical because the face protrudes compared to other helmets!
A definitely value-for-money helmet. Very beautiful. With many possibilities in its use. The material quality seems worse than Shoei, which I had before, but it is very durable. What impressed me incredibly is its aerodynamics. Even at 200 km/h, the wind doesn't pull me back at all, while the Shoei was very bad in this aspect. The built-in sun visor is nothing crazy, but it definitely helps. It is also lightweight and quite comfortable on long rides. What might tire you is the relatively poor noise insulation due to the wind
