The simple and consistent structure of the lessons in the Olly the Owl one-year course Coursebook is an important tool in the hands of experienced and younger educators. Throughout the year, special emphasis is placed on understanding and reproducing oral speech, producing written speech, and understanding simple grammatical phenomena. The vocabulary of each lesson is thematic and suitable for the age of the students.

The Coursebook consists of:

• 42 songs, one in each lesson, which can be used to reinforce vocabulary and grammar of the lesson, and two additional songs that can be used at any time, The Birthday Song and The Star Pupil song.
• 8 review sections, one after 5 lessons, which provide additional vocabulary and grammar practice. The reviews can be used to assess the student and identify any problems. No new material is presented in the reviews.
• 7 well-known fairy tales adapted to the age and language level of the students. The fairy tales are accompanied by various activities, games, and projects that are presented in detail in the teacher's book.
• a six-page fold-out that connects English with other educational fields and gives students the opportunity to explore the world through enjoyable projects. A special section with funny cartoons is dedicated to promoting values such as social interactions, respect for others, etc.

• 2 pages of stickers at the back of the Coursebook. The stickers are used in specific activities of the Coursebook and promote understanding and production of oral and written speech in a pleasant way.
