The "Parables and Poems" by Krishnamurti belong to the category of the few texts written by himself and are not transcriptions of speeches or discussions. Like his diaries, his parables and poems were suddenly written and suddenly stopped. However, unlike the diaries that were presented in three different time periods, the parables and poems were written over a period of eight years, from 1923 (when he was 28 years old) to 1931. Since then, Krishnamurti never wrote poetry again.
Beyond any philological and historical positioning of Krishnamurti's parables and poems, one could say that in the book "Parables and Poems" all that he said in the remaining fifty-five years of his life is condensed, and that it is a "secret door" that leads directly to what is hidden behind the words he uses in all his teachings, that is, to the source. And this "door" is located within the heart of every human being. And it is to the heart that Krishnamurti's "Parables and Poems" are addressed.
