Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main option for heating the household water or as a supplementary one. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your daily needs, as long as there are suitable pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to the distance.

The adjustment of the water outlet temperature is done proportionally and depends on the water flow rate, according to the selected power.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, as well as longer lifespan, since there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts on the resistance and other components.

It operates with natural gas, and no electrical installation is required.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the incoming cold water should not be too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are preset so that one can use the hot water directly, without the need to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 65 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 12 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water being used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in a traditional water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water flows in a few seconds. The traditional water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.

    I have had it for about 2 months.
    I still haven't managed to take a bath without any problems despite the many changes in temperature and water flow settings. It turns off after 5 minutes of use at most.
    As soon as it turns off (because it always turns off without raising the temperature too much), I need to turn the faucet on and off 4-5 times to get it working again, and even then, it only lasts for a few minutes this time...
    In general, it is fine for a vacation home, and that's only because of its low price. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...

    You get what you pay for.
    After 1.5 years, the problems started.
    It started leaking, sometimes the spark plug doesn't ignite, other times the spark plug doesn't turn off and the flame goes out, sometimes it goes out on its own without high temperatures.
    A hassle. It would have been better if I bought something more quality.
