I got it a month ago and put it in a nice USB 3 case to use as an extra hard drive for movies, photos, music, and various files.
I can't say it makes any noise. To hear it working, you need absolute silence, and you'll hear it when it starts up.
So far, it's going well. It's quiet and has 100% health. With Hdsetinel and Crystal Disk info, it shows 100% health, because sometimes it's a lottery whether the disk will be good from the beginning or if it will have a problem after a few days.
I'll come back with new observations after a few months. It seems worth the purchase.
Edit:
After 2.5 months of use, the disk is in perfect condition. I also added games like Fortnite and Call of Duty, and they run without any problems. As for temperature (I have it in a USB 3.0 case), it has reached a maximum of 47 degrees, even in the summer. Everything looks good, value for money!
Thank you for reading my review.
Edit 2: After 49 days and 15 hours of use, the disk "gave up the ghost." I hadn't pushed it, and it was at about 60-65% of its capacity. I lost everything inside, and any program I tried to recover data with was unsuccessful. They will replace it because it has a warranty, but I will resell it (the new one I will get) and look for something else. It's a shame. Be careful if you have it and keep a copy of your data. What I also didn't like from the beginning is that Windows sees it as an SSD, not a mechanical one.
Edit 3: Since the disk had a 3-year warranty, I took it back to the store, and after a week, they gave me a new one. After formatting it to GPT NTFS, I put it in a tower for backup purposes only. What I noticed on the new disk is that it doesn't see it as an SSD like the previous one did. For now, it's going well, although I have lost my trust in it to keep it constantly in operation.
