  Trying it on individual files, on a modern laptop as well as directly on the motherboard's USB 3.1, it reached speeds (and maintained them) around 310 mb/sec. On multiple files (a whole series of 10 episodes, each 2.5 gb), the speed started high but quickly dropped to 70 Mb/sec. It's not bad, but it's not comparable to the initial speed.
  Its construction is, or at least appears to be, very high quality.
  It is metallic and heavy.
  Attention! It is twice as wide as other USB disks, which makes it impossible to coexist with other USB devices, such as laptops, PCs, televisions, etc., with other USB devices, as it covers the adjacent port in most cases. The "solution" to this is to purchase an extension cable.
  It cannot be removed by extraction, like all USB flash disks, which probably means it sees it as a hard drive.

  After 24 months of using it, I have come to the conclusion that it is very mediocre. It is not fast at all when copying large files. The writing speed is unusually inconsistent and it takes a long time for a movie file. It is definitely not worth the money I paid for it. There are other USB sticks that are more reliable and faster.

  Purchase, June 2020.
  From the very first use, one can notice its quality construction (high-quality aluminum casing, visible LED indicating the operating status, sturdy and somewhat heavy design - 54g).
  However, the good things stop here, as they have minimal relation to the manufacturer's specifications. Attempting to copy a large file (245 GB) that includes other files (all movies, meaning single files). For the first two minutes, the write speed reached 220-240 MB/s. From there on, it dropped without any particular reason to 45-50 MB/s (reaching 30 MB/s at times!!!), staying on average at this write speed with a few brief exceptions (lasting two to three seconds) where it climbed to 190-200 MB/s, but then dropped again to the meager speed of 45-50 MB/s. Personally, I find this unacceptable, as it took about an hour to copy. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE WRITE WAS DONE ON A USB PORT 3.1 GEN 1, which is on the back of the motherboard and not on an intermediate adapter, as specified by the manufacturer.
  To dispel my doubts, as the owner of the CORSAIR VOYAGER GTX CMFVYGTX3-256GB (previous model, purchased in September 2015), I performed the exact same action (same USB port, same file). The speed of this particular device averaged at 150-160 MB/s, with no fluctuations. So, there is no comparison.
  Contacting Corsair support for RMA/Replacement and we'll see what happens.
  Overall, it seems to not withstand write performance for files that exceed two to two and a half minutes in total time. It starts well, but once it reaches the aforementioned time, it dramatically drops to 40-50 MB/s.
  The evaluation concerns the capacity of 1 TB.

  The Usb is a great tool. Quite fast in data transfer. Corsair quality is implied, without a doubt. In terms of speed, the usb program achieved:
  Read: 459 Mb/s
  Write: 449 Mb/s

  For those who know, you understand why we're talking about a tool. In one word: AWESOME.

  I highly recommend it without hesitation, without a second thought. It is a bit expensive, of course, but I think it's worth it if you want something fast and speedy in everything...

  Purchased here a month ago, I consider its speeds to be exceptionally good compared to the competition. Instantaneous in all its actions (read/write). Very fast and efficient without experiencing any problems or speed drops when it heats up. Overall, a very reliable device for copying and usage. Impressive construction and truly metallic (light alloy) that will protect the interior from falls and vibrations.
  Now, as for the negatives, I would mention that the cap is easy to lose. I would have expected something to be done about it, even though it is metallic with an elastic interior to prevent contacts from getting hurt.
  The most significant drawback is the temperatures it generates even when you're not doing any copy/paste or operating it. They should have found a better solution for heat dissipation.
  Overall, it is an excellent USB stick, but with issues regarding the temperature it generates, which I don't know if it will present problems after years of use.

  From 6/2019 until now, 3/2021, after almost 2 years of use, it remains an amazing work tool, incredibly fast and efficient.
  The only downside is that being metallic, impacts negatively affect its external surface, and it shows signs of being used with scratches. I expected the surface coating to be more resistant.
  Other than that, it is exceptionally wonderful.
