It was purchased as a replacement for a TM50 that I already had since 2015 and broke due to consecutive power outages caused by bad weather last month. Compared to the TM50, it is clearly more comfortable, user-friendly, and functional, due to its size, resolution, and - I believe - better touch operation. The capabilities of the screen are much greater than a regular keyboard, such as SpotOn Locator, OneScreen Monitor, Photo Frame mode, etc., while of course, all functions are accessible on the screen without having to resort to the manual and strange combinations of buttons and codes.
In terms of materials and appearance, it is nothing special, just plain white plastic and average assembly, practically resembling a mediocre Chinese tablet, so although it gives a high-tech feeling, in terms of materials and quality, it cannot be compared to other equally expensive solutions from other manufacturers.
Basically, the only drawback of the screen is its price, as the MSRP (official price) of almost €400 is quite high. Even with a discount of around €300, I still consider it a bit expensive, mainly considering its materials and tangible quality, compared to well-known brand name tablets. However, since there is no other alternative and it is a completely proprietary solution, there is no other choice but to buy it if you want to break away from the typical boring keyboards.
It is a Hi-Tech keyboard that doesn't really add much compared to a regular keyboard, it just gives a breath of evolution to the space, no matter how silly or trivial it may be. Overall, it works well, it doesn't freeze, but it's definitely not an iPhone. The screen has a good viewing angle, it requires a little pressure to respond. Maybe the price is a bit steep.
Generally, I don't consider it a bad keyboard. However, I find its high price unacceptable for the features it has. The screen has low resolution and you need to convert the photos to bmp files with low resolution in order to upload them. Additionally, in order to remove the 4gb micro sd card that it comes with, you have to detach the entire keyboard, when it could have been placed on the side. I think it would be worth it if it was priced up to 160€. Personally, I bought it as a second keyboard for the upstairs of my house, in the living room. I don't regret it, but it is overpriced. Furthermore, there is no alternative if you want it to be 7" to fit photos inside.
10/10 it is very good!!
