This book is intended for all first-year high school students. Through its writing, we have tried to introduce students to the magical world of Chemistry and to familiarize them with chemical compounds and phenomena they encounter daily in their environment. At the same time, our goal is for students to acquire the foundations that will help them in the study of Chemistry in the subsequent grades.

This book follows the following structure:
- Presentation of the theory in the form of questions and answers. In this way, each student can focus their attention on the most important points of each lesson and quickly review whenever they deem it necessary.
- Evaluation questions for better understanding of the material, specifically:
- development questions
- fill-in-the-blank questions
- matching questions
- multiple-choice questions
- "True - False" type questions

- Exercises for solving and combined problems that cover the material in multiple ways and expand the scope of our applications.
- Evaluation criteria for consolidating the material.

At the end of each subsection, the answers to the evaluation questions and the solutions to the exercises are included.
