[...] This book, which deals with topics of Underground Waters - Hydrogeology and Environment, aims to contribute precisely to the scientific training of scientists dealing with these issues (geologists, civil engineers, agronomists, environmental engineers, etc.). It covers all topics related to the quality of underground waters, the interaction of water with the environment, sources and spread of pollution, waste disposal in soil, vulnerability of underground waters to external pollution, decontamination of underground aquifers, climate change and its impact on the environment, and finally the phenomenon of salinization.

The first two chapters present the basic concepts of Hydrogeology-Subsurface Hydraulics and soil properties, so that the book has autonomy and completeness.
