I can't say that I noticed any particular difference in the illnesses. Of course, it was the first year in preschool and it was tough anyway. I still have a bottle left and I plan to give it a second chance now that we are starting school again. However, the kids drink it very pleasantly.

But be careful: the little one's teeth got stained since she started drinking it. On the upper side, the entire row of teeth turned dark brown (we brushed them normally morning and night, but she took the syrup at noon). When I suspected the Sambucol, we started brushing them immediately after the midday dose and with persistent brushing morning and night, her teeth whitened again after 2-3 weeks.

We kept taking it in order to prevent the child from getting sick, but we really didn't see any difference. It may have just been a coincidence

I bought it for the third consecutive time. I believe it does the job or at least I want to believe so. I give it to my little one every morning before school. I think that this year's progress so far is due to it (only 2 doses of antibiotics in infancy)

None of the supplements work miracles but they definitely help. I have been giving it to my daughter since last year when she started kindergarten (now she is 3.5 years old), she gets sick but luckily we go through it more lightly. Definitely the combination with a good diet helps a lot in getting over them faster!
