And so, I have created in my mind - as an ideal I would like to reach - the image of a beautiful giraffe. Because it has four legs that touch the ground. It does not fly so that it has time to assimilate. Sometimes it may seem like it even has some instability. But it stands firmly. It has the time to absorb the substances of the earth, the needs, and the reality, whether it is mud or a flower-strewn meadow, without flattening it with its weight. At the same time, it has its head high in the sky. There it finds its food, it does not need to bend down. It sees far, it has vision, as we should have, and our food should be more spiritual, more intangible. And, finally, somewhere in between, it also has a heart. Because I do not believe that architecture without a heart can exist.

The "Beautiful Giraffe..." is the traces of a noble passion in confession, in architecture, in contemplation. An important architect mixes the workshop of self and professional experience. Alexandros Tombazis speaks fascinatingly about the "inside" and the "outside" of a world that believes in individual responsibility, understanding, and common happiness.
