Only this shampoo worked for my dermatitis, while I have tried many. In the summer, I usually have more intense symptoms, but with this, I was saved. I have dry and thick hair and I wash it 2 times a week without issue.
I bought it for dry scalp! It did a great job! I give it 4 stars because the hair doesn't shine and doesn't smell perfect! But it's definitely worth it for someone who has a problem! Then you switch to another type of shampoo once the scalp returns to normal
The best product for seborrheic dermatitis. I have been using it for years, I had a severe problem with flakes and redness, I tried 1-2 times to use regular shampoo from the supermarket and within 5 days the symptoms returned. Now I use it daily and I have no trace of flakes and dandruff.
I did not have a serious problem with dandruff, but after the 4th application, it disappeared. As for the scent that I read many complaints about, I can say that I was quite satisfied because it is refreshing and does not remind me of sulfur as some people said. It smells like mint, just like the UltraX that I used from the beginning and did not see any results with the problem. Intense yellow color like the yolk of an egg, so it did not create a problem on brown hair. If there is bleaching, I do not know if it will affect the color
The only anti-dandruff shampoo that helps me so much... I had a problem for years and my girlfriends would mention it from time to time, it solved the problem for me, 4 weeks of use and 2 with Ultrex and my hair is truly healthier now!
I have a serious problem with my hair since I was little. Oily scalp, dandruff, atopic dermatitis on my face, resulting in itchiness and redness on my scalp. I have tried almost all shampoos.
With regular shampoo for oily hair, my scalp doesn't stay clean even for a day. Every night, my hair needs to be washed because it becomes excessively oily, resulting in intense itchiness on the same day.
If I try other specific therapeutic shampoos for dandruff, dermatitis, and oily hair, my scalp needs to be washed every day. For example, if I wash my hair on Monday night, by Wednesday afternoon my scalp needs to be washed again. This has been (and probably was) my solution for years. Lately, even this type of shampoo hasn't been helpful.
Two weeks ago, by chance, I came across the above sample at the pharmacy (I have uploaded a photo). I had nothing to lose, so I tried it as well...thinking it would be the same as before. I didn't expect anything better.
Well...I have used this shampoo three times and I am amazed.
The last time I washed my hair was on Tuesday and today is Friday night, and I haven't washed it again yet.
My hair is still dry and, of course, I haven't experienced any itchiness. Note that the shampoo doesn't mention that it is for oily hair.
I'm not telling you to blindly go and buy it, but to find some free samples for a trial first. Use it with both hands during each wash and leave the shampoo on your scalp for two to three minutes.
As it seems to me, with intense oiliness, itchiness, and dandruff...it has done something for now. I will buy it.

Miraculous product for seborrheic dermatitis and quite affordable. Bad smell.
Having tried countless products, I can confidently say that this and Sandal are the only shampoos that actually had visible results in reducing and eventually eliminating scalp dryness from the very first wash. I now use them almost interchangeably and have completely gotten rid of this problem. Its smell is not particularly pleasant (maybe slightly worse than Sandal, which smells like bitter almond), but it is tolerable and you get used to it after a few uses. Unfortunately, it does not work well on dyed hair and as far as I know, there is no product in this line that protects the color. Also, be aware that this shampoo is only effective as long as you use it. If you switch back to regular shampoo, the problem will reappear.
I buy it and will continue to do so until I find a product that is equally effective with color protection and a better scent.

I'm going back to selsun which is the best of all for years.

The only one I have tried and stops the serious problem with intense dandruff. Now after 2 weeks of use, I have nothing. I am completely fine.
After years of intense dry skin, with dermatologists recommending products that did minimal work, I decided to stop seeing the dermatologist and give it one last try. I saw the reviews and decided to give it a shot. The dry skin has almost disappeared after years!! I highly recommend it
The product I received when ordering does not have this packaging. The bottle is round. It has a double label with a barcode, each without an expiration date. This is strange. I don't know if it is a new packaging...
For the first and second use, it made my hair soft but with more itching and during use. Quite a bit of hair loss on the second wash. I will come back after a period of use. If someone can confirm whether the round bottle is a newer version (or not..!)
For me, it worked much better than similar products. Previously, I had seen relatively good results from Ducray Kelual, but Dercos solved 95% of the dry skin problem I was facing after the 3rd application, not only on my hair but also behind my ears. I have been using it for about a month and I hope it continues to be effective in the future.
I started seeing positive results from the first use (and I assume with the 4-week program, as mentioned, it will be even better - I am on the first week). It doesn't dry out the hair even when using conditioner/mask and it didn't negatively affect my damaged hair/curls (I do use styling cream after washing). The texture is nice but the scent is so-so. It reminds me of a masculine after-shave and the smell "lingers" on the first day and after the hair dries.
Update: After a few months, yes, I would buy it again! Within 1-2 weeks, the dryness completely disappeared and by continuing to use it with every wash, I simply forgot that I had dryness.
The shampoo is quite good. In early September, I had a flare-up of seborrheic dermatitis, resulting in white flakes appearing everywhere when I simply touched my hair (not scratching it). The scalp was covered in white plaques that, when removed, left behind a heavily red and itchy area. I experienced the same phenomenon on my eyebrows and beard, with intense redness and irritation. Don't expect all of these symptoms to disappear completely with the first application. The first application gives a sense of calming to the affected area, with a reduction of dandruff and redness by about 30% and a decrease in itching. With the second application after 3-4 days, the affected areas relax even more, with a noticeable reduction in all symptoms. And with the third application, almost all symptoms disappear completely. I don't know how long the effects will last, but the fact that it eliminated all my symptoms is enough for me. As for the scent, in the first application, it did have a strong smell like a match for a day, but it was tolerable. In the second and third times, it wasn't as bothersome. Additionally, after each wash, it leaves the hair very soft and easy to comb.
After so many positive reviews, I expected it to at least not leave any traces of dandruff after the first wash.
Very good and especially in Greece it is better than in Switzerland where I live and use it here it works much better I don't know how that happens but I will buy 2-3 to pass the time there until I come back. Prefer it, you will love it
Two weeks ago, I had intense itching and noticed that I had very dry skin and dandruff. My hair is very long, thin, and oily. I went and bought a product from a pharmacy which I used for 2 weeks, but things got worse... my hair became much oilier after a few days, the itching became very annoying, and the dryness got even worse. I don't know if it was the specific product's fault or if it simply didn't work on my scalp. So, I went to another pharmacy and they gave me some samples of this shampoo from Vichy, which I tried the same day. I was shocked, my hair is softer and shinier than ever, about 90% less dandruff, and minimal dryness. It doesn't bother me at all. I believe that with the second wash, I won't have any dryness at all. Definitely, with the first application, it doesn't completely go away, but the results are amazing. I'm going to buy it today already. If you already have long, oily hair with thin strands and suffer from dryness and dandruff, this is what you need. I recommend it to you.
The only thing that helped me with rosacea (not related to dandruff). Also at a reasonable price. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes to take effect for better results. Unfortunately, it is a condition that has no cure and I will have to live with it for life. Be careful with Selenium, it is harsh on colored hair and will remove a lot of color. It will yellow white hair. I would not recommend it for daily use. Rinse well.
I have tried many products for many years to get rid of itchiness and dandruff, desperately. This specific shampoo helped me a lot. Now I don't scratch all the time like before.
The only shampoo that helps me with dry scalp (with all others I get atopic dermatitis and my hair gets filled with dry patches). I have heard that it doesn't smell very nice from others, but to me it reminds me of therapy, and it smells amazing to me. It leaves my hair and scalp incredibly soft and clean.
From the first wash, I saw a huge difference, I'm not going to change it. Satisfied! This one is for dry hair, not for oiliness because I saw comments mentioning that it doesn't help with oiliness. There is a corresponding one for oily hair. Thank you Vichy!
Well, it disappeared the visible dandruff from the first wash, although dry skin still exists, it will show if it will do the job during the 4 weeks and I will come back. Its scent is great compared to other medicated ones I have tried, without meaning that it won't bother a little. In a few words, if you don't have a huge problem, take it with closed eyes, but if you have wounds and a huge problem and you can tolerate the smell, take selsun blue

I bought it after trying many products in my life, both from supermarkets and pharmacies. I had a terrible problem! For dandruff, it is excellent! It is probably the best on the market! Even though I don't wash my hair often, the shampoo still does an excellent job! I always make sure to use it as the last step I take. It smells like a men's fragrance, I should mention. I use another shampoo for the first or second wash and then a final one with Vichy. The issue is that this shampoo is weak in creating lather on dirty or even slightly dirty hair! It is weaker than a cheap shampoo. If I use another shampoo for the first wash and then try to use Vichy for the second, it won't work. I am forced to do two washes with another shampoo, essentially my hair is completely clean, and a third one with the anti-dandruff shampoo. Just to let the skin absorb the ingredients. This is annoying. With a simple shampoo, I would create two lathers, and since I want to use this one, I will have to do three. Overall, what I didn't like is the strong smell and how much lather it creates on slightly dirty hair. I didn't see anyone else mention this, but it happens to me. Otherwise, I would have to use a lot of product. If the hair is clean, it creates a rich lather. My scalp has cleared from dandruff, even though I don't wash my hair often, and I am very satisfied, but while my hair never used to get greasy, now it does! Maybe it's because the dry skin that kept the scalp dry is gone, I don't know.
I had tried many shampoos for dandruff and itchiness. This is the only one that truly helped me. Its scent is somewhat medicinal, but it doesn't bother me. It goes without saying that I will buy it again
After a lot of searching and wasting money on shampoos specialized in seborrheic dermatitis, I tried this one and it is by far the best I have ever used. I highly recommend it, Vichy has done an amazing job and it comes in a 390ml bottle, not 100 or 150 like other brands! It completely eliminated the symptoms!
From the second wash, I noticed a difference in dry skin and dandruff. There is a slight improvement in itching. It definitely needs a conditioner afterwards because it becomes hard
